It was important for our tree-dwelling apelike ancestors to be able to hold on to and eat their food. It was a long way to the predator filled ground. So any small mutation that made it easier to hold and easily open a banana made it more likely that the primate having that hand would survive and pass that mutation along. After many generations they evolved into us with a hand that's just right for holding and opening a banana. The banana proves evolution is true. Ray Comfort has killed God.
