  • Not everyone can do a 6G. Nice work. I've been a welder for 20 years and I recognize talent when I see it.

  • Who cares about the face lol lets see the roots.

  • nice 4-G

  • nice share about how to pipe welding

  • after looking around at youtube to learn how to weld pipe finally i get the answer here

  • Are you training to be a coaded welder? What you are doing is simlar to the tests we have to do? Would interested to see what penetration you got on that last pipe section you did.

  • look youtube.com/watch?v=QbmWNuglhQY

  • some of the best welds are not that nice to look at..

  • good enough for the local gas company.

  • i gotta flowmaster on my hobart prowler hood XD

  • nice video... your cover passes need some work though. Keep up the good work.

  • i dont know but i have never done tig but i bet i can do it better than u

  • not bad

  • I have seen better welding on acats arse

  • This video should be called "Watch Me Weld" seeing as how there was no instruction on HOW TO WELD!!!

  • Hi i was wondering if you could help me I was thinking of building my own bike frame what type of welder will i need and what type of weld ?

  • @Brian53255 Hands down; get a tig welder. if all you have access to is mig or stick they can work but you need to make sure that the settings are right so that you get good penetration and if you are not experienced you can be making a death trap waiting to happen... tig you can weld any alloy and have strong safe joints.. mig and stick can have lack of penetration and cause a weld failure.

  • veri good

  • a good way alot of the old boys use including myself is to run a hacksaw lightly down the sides of your cap weld when finished, not often seen these days but evens it up nice..keep it up mate.

  • @1423stuart just use your file.....its called ring filing. And you better ask the people giving the test before you do it, sometimes they will boot you out for that. Just depends. Its an easy way to cover slight undercut if you have some, that is why they don't like it.

  • FIRESTARTER! EXCELLENT SOUNDTRACK! %)))

  • уебанство а не шов

  • get four steel wheels from Harbor F. they are used on work beach. mount them in two rows to a work stateshion, then tak them at four points lay the pipe on the wheels. u should be able to move the pipe foward n weld them to together. remember to weld at 45 degress angle from top. dont under cut, roping, building up as a puddle or over cut, and never go pass the pipe with for this means your stay in one plase to long n add to much heat to one plase. over kiss is NOT good in this type of work.

  • well, ur pipe/metal should move with the welding puddle going foward to help w/ roll-back. N ur welding stike should be at a 45 degress from top/ 12 oclock. root pass should be never moving left or right. then over lapping with 25% on just one side. then another 25% pass on other side. remember never move your puddle left or right when weld pipe. this will help your weld not having small air holes when going on over w/ next pass.As for end weld, looks like BAD for its(roping, over cut

  • Yeah fitting is important but theres not a whole lot of money in the jippo shops fitting......pipe and structure is where its at.....

  • gay ass song

  • cool, tig weld on the inside and smaw weld on the outside

  • this video should be called how to "TUBE" weld not pipe :)

  • your to slow bro jejejejejejjejejeje

  • keep it up dude you'll get better

  • @welderman27

thank you for the support and will do, i recently mastered the art of "keyhole-ing" stainless roots :)

  • @Johnnyv420 key holing it is great you know for sure you're tying it in, it's been a while since i've done stainless pipe but after a while I would not keyhole it I just knew that I was running it flush inside the pipe. now that it's been so long since I've done stainless I'd key hole it to make sure I was getting enough in there. Stainless I always enjoyed more then carbon because it just flowed better it seemed

  • @Johnnyv420 one more thing there is no such thing as mastering pipe, you will till the day you die be getting better and better with it, and always remember there is someone else out there better then you so don't get to cocky thinking you're the shit.

  • @welderman27 oh yea i know, i was just using a figure of speech. i am also well aware that there are people better then me as i am learning to do this from one of them lol there is a difference between being cocky and being confident, im just confident in my work. i know what cannot be therefore i can make what has to be. and agreed stainless is very nice to run, no trash in the puddle (unless it wasnt cleaned well rofl)

  • @Johnnyv420 good and as I have learned don't just get good at pipe welding get good at everything learn every welding process and lear to fit because most jobs are wanting fitter welder combo hands, i'm learning this now thats why I've got to find something somewhere how to fit, it's really hurting me in my area. All of welding is really hurting in general but it can't stay down forever so in the mean time keep practicing

  • @welderman27 for sure, that was the last thing my boss said to me before i got laid off due to ROF last year was, "theres more to this than just welding, learn to fit so i can come work for you someday" which made me chuckle a bit. getting the welding part has been my focus because it takes technical skill, fitting is more know-how than skill from what i can tell, which i have picked up on a good bit but there is so much more to learn.

  • @Johnnyv420 not just fitting it's reading blue prints which is a thing you gotta learn to. I'm not gonna lie I wanted to just weld when i started 5 years ago now i realize it's the fitting a blue print reading that I need to learn but the economy is so bad right everywhere that I'm considering on driving a truck for a bit till welding picks back up.

  • @Johnnyv420 hey man my name is shane and i bet u think ur pritty good at welding but lemme tell ya ur NOT even there yet hommie that shit in this video was for a job at an actual pipe job in a nuclear power plant all that shit gets painted so to speak with a brazed alloy them welds i saw were not passable that sir would skru ur job if u welded at my place of business let me know what u think i will send u some pics of some real code asme aws welds that i have done by hand this is real man

  • @Johnnyv420 Hi! Nice weelds. What is keyhole-ing? Im from sweden and also a welder, but never heard that slang before=) plz do tell.

  • that is a shit 3 stringer cap if i ever seen one

  • @kiknass4fun

learn to count then reply. or wait it probably wont be anything intelligent enough to read then either. oh and that was my first pipe cap ever but nice try lmao

  • Great Song! Great Video! I am surprised that you have not gotten more hits!
