On master ninja, NGB is hard but fair, NGII is ridiculously cheap and insanely difficult (especially a tests of valor) On lower difficulties (Warrior and acolyte) NGII is easy as pie.

ok if they put nero in the game how come vergil wasn't in the story he should of matter of fact i think vergil was better than dante in dmc3 this is just backwards dante would be in vergils place because well vergil was more skilled than dante but since in dmc4 dante is more skilled and nero is just some guy just for the new people who played dmc for the first time in fact I'm gettin a xbox 360 elite tomorrow and I'm buyin this game and see what it's like and see if it is hard i doubt it

Because it wouldnt make sense. DMC3 was a prequel, remember that. Showing a young dante and young vergil... In DMC1 the first game to come out, Dante is all grown up & so is Vergil..and Vergil is killed by Dante in part 1...The only thing is that Vergil isnt human looking like in DMC3. In DMC1 Vergil is a full blooded demon by the name of Nelo Angelo. Its not until you kill him that you learn that Nelo was dantes brother

Remember the timeline of the game is a bit screwy... Story wise this is the order of the games DMC3 (Dante & Vergil are young), DMC1 (Dante kills vergil aka Nelo Angelo & Trish joins Dante), DMC 4 , followed by DMC2 (where Dante is a demon hunter with Trish) .... Part 2 was considered a dissapointment by many for several reasons and one reason was that Trish was never even mentioned in the story despite being an unlockable character

no no no. nero is not dante's son at all. how many times do i have to tell people he's a desendent of sparda. nero possesses the power of (yamato) the katana that sparda used then passed it down to vergil. when he was defeated in DMC3 by mundus (which we obvisouly knew) he become Nelo angelo in DMC1. we dante defeated vergil/nelo angelo he disappered but im not sure he died. Dante then restores the sword sparda. after he defeated mundus... you know what to much tying >:( nevermind figure it out.

They freakin rock and don't cost that much nowadays anyway. I have to say I enjoyed dmc4 more as I've always been a fan of DMC.

NG2 was kickass but I didn't really feel that close to the game, the story made no sense, characters were kinda boring etc. Gameplay was freakin brutal tho XD Also I was at mission 9 (hard/mentor mode) and my 360 just deleted my saves for no reason. Cant be arsed to play it again since it's damn hard. So ye, get both if you can but if you can't, I'd say dmc4.

Ng2. It provides more of an actual challenge rather than DMC 4 which is pretty much one of the easiest DMC's out there. Hell it's not even the best DMC. Not only does Ninja Gaiden provide a challenge but it has something that DMC 4 doesn't have. VARIETY. Ryu's weaponry provides all the variety you will need rather than Nero's pathetic gameplay and Dante's lack of weapons. It can't even TOUCH DMC in terms of gameplay. In fact I would say get Ng2 and NG Sigma 2 as well. To hell with DMC 4.

Ive got all the DMC games and i just completed DMC 4 yesterday on the ps3 and my opinion on this game is that it was a TOTAL letdown compared to DMC 3 AND DMC 1. This game could have had way more environments and more bosses instead of recycling the same old shit and ending the game way too quickly if it was made only on blu-ray format. Also nearly all of the boss battles felt wayyyy too easyyy compared to DMC 3 AND DMC 1. Not mentioning DMC 2 as i havent played that yet.

I have to agree with the reviewer, the camera controls suck. In my opinion, the game was rushed; they didn't put as much effort as in the previous game. One example of this is the graphics, they could've been better. Also, they voice acting was great, but the scrip sucks; it's as if some on-English speaking person with some English skills wrote it; the scrip didn't make sense at times. Nero was great, but when I got to play as Dante, it was as if I had been given back something that I had lost.

I agree with you in the fact that capcom was lazy at the time of making this game. I think Nero was cool and all, but the main problem is that we the players are already used to (in love with) Dante and introducing a new main character was a bad mistake. They should've have left Nero as a supporting character (a few chapters in the game would've been ok), but they left that role to Dante instead. I think they made Danter a playable character because they expected the complains of the fans.

I will admit. Nero's Devil Bringer did add a certain amount of charm to the game. However in terms of what Nero had to offer. it was nothing more than a user friendly character watered down because the previous game was too hard. The fact that almost all of his attacks consisted of just slamming opponents and bringing them in to do combos got boring REAL fast. There was almost no variety in terms of attack. I'd rather have Dante as the main guy. He at least had MORE than Nero.

If Nero is playable in the new DMC 5, assuming there is one, then it should be a supporting role. He had his game as a main guy. I think its now time to let Dante get back in the main seat. As far as Nero being bad ass, I cant agree there. Everything he says and does is almost something that Dante would do. He seems more like a Dante wannabe. That alone takes away his badassitude status in my book. I know you like him and I certainly respect that, this is just the way I see Nero is all.

I've recently started the game and I dont find the camera too much of a problem to be honest. I wouldn't say it is improved though over the original titles! You still have the odd occasion when you will be running in one direction and the camera changes and you will be pressing the opposite direction to what you are running. But like I say, these moments are few and far between.

I mean repetition is one thing, but the fact that we have to go through all the same stages that Nero went through WITH Dante is unforgivable. Weren't we promised different levels with Dante? And a DIFFERENT game with Dante? We got the opposite of that. And no repeating stages is NOT fun. Not when you have to do the same exact thing over again and beat the same bosses three times. This series has lost it's dynamic with the 4th installment. Hopefully number 5 will get it right.

Well, they do mean different things in some games. Even if there's repetition - like, say, all the combat in the Kingdom Hearts games - it can still be fun. And repeated fun is still fun. For some people the repetition is a big turnoff, but others don't really mind. Hence all the fans of Kingdom Hearts, sticking to that example.
