Saw and met her along with my daughter in a recital last year. She IMHO hands down has the BEST tone of any violinist I have heard and I've had the opportunity to hear quite a few great ones. I adore her playing. I think one of the the Violin worlds best kept secrets. She has a great career, but I think deserves more recognition for her unbelievable talent. She has ability to make one weep when she plays.

Saw her perform Dvorak's violin concerto two nights ago. Incredible! She is able to draw a variety of beautiful tone colors from either of those two violins she usually plays that no one else could.Besides being one of the finest violinists active today, and I know how hard this must be to believe if you've never met her, she is even more beautiful than she appears in her video performances. Also she is warm, accessible and, as you would expect, highly intelligent. A complete person. Greg Gibbs

she lives in houston actually... Or did a year ago. Beaumont is actually a pretty decent gig. the orchestra isn't that bad. I agree though. She's one of the best violinists i've ever heard. I don't understand why she isn't crazy famous. I attended a recital she gave about a year ago, as well as a masterclass, and I was BLOWN AWAY.
