when i look at dx diagnostics (by searching run at the start menu, pressing enter ans typing dxdiag then pressing enter) it shows i have DirectX 11 allong with my gpu and all that but somehow BF3 sees this differently and the ddriver i have installed is sopposed to be made for battle feild three says NVIDIA :w-w-w.geforce.com/Drivers/Res­ults/38915

The Statement "If you can run Black Ops you can run BF3 on lower settings" is 100% incorrect because: Black Ops is DX9. BF3 requires DX10+. Therefore, it's not automatic "you can run BF3 on low if you can run Black Ops on Medium" or whatever. Just sayin'.

@6thchambermadness I found the problem with mine! I've have Phillips AMbx lights and they were conflicting with BF3 - which is annoying because it would've been cool to use them together. Anyways, if you have AMbx lights just disable the processes in task manager. The game runs pretty well :)

Same issue; 3 month old, Win 7 Alienware GTX 460 w/ 1/1.5 gig OBR. Play for a bit then, coincidently, when I'm actually having a good run, BOOM!, freeze to white screen. CTRL +ALT+DELETE out. New error is directx fail, Nvidia drivers fail. All up to date. Been running game fulscreen, auto setting. Going to do some more research with vid settings tonight. Will report findings.

@cwhymt88 search for dxdiag on the start menu. In the Processor section if it says Intel(R) then you cannot run the beta.
