Those of you saying this isn't a sad cutscene, consider this...

Rob's people have been forced to sacrifice themselves in order to detonate those supspace bombs, and one time they willfully did so, so Rob could escape...

Now Rob decides he's not going to throw away any more of his people to these bombs... And Ganondorf just enforces manual control on them all, and when Rob starts to forcefully save them, his own people are made to target him.

Frankly, theres plenty of tragedy to it.

A king is living happily with his subjects, the people. one day, an evil wizard takes control of everyone he loves n trusts, his children, spouse, citizens, even the army. he makes test bombs out of them, just to distort parts of the planet, the ROBs, people are killed in da process. no the king cant take. he fights back, just 4 all those people he worked and laughed with r commanded to kill him point blank

This is sad because all of the other R.O.B.s die, and they never return. Hell not even the Isle of the Ancients returned after the defeat of Tabuu because of the number of subspace bombs that blew up.

This is sad cause this essentially means that R.O.B. just became the "last of his kind"
