@dominant84 The Low E string is tuned down 1 step to a D, which you only hear for one note. Effects wise I am just using a mild Tremolo and a ton of spring reverb, neither of which should affect how low it sounds. Twang guitar played in the low range just tends to sound deep I guess.

@xXx6TRACER6xXx Oh yeah! Go for it! It's in drop D tunning. Also for others like me who spent years trying to figure out how to get that surf / western / spy tone from your guitar, it's pretty easy. Bridge pickup and crank the reverb, keep the distortion low or off.

@Logankendellmusic Thanks! After I first posted my question, I tried it and it was relatively easy with the tabs I found on a different video. Like I said, I'm a total novice at guitar, so I'd need to practice a lot more before I can get it to sound like how you played it.
