Haha you're saying you didn't like Super Mario RPG's music. Nobody can even say that without losing credibility. This game has some of the best music ever made. From the mushroom forest song up to the haunted ship, etc..., this game is not only a masterpiece but also offers a gigantic number of awesome melodies! I think you simply forgot some and to cover yourself you say you don't like them. It would have been smarter to say you just forgot them! Also I agree with the DKC comment below.

Published was the wrong word. I meant developed, or a very close relationship such as Rare.

All those series you mentioned were developed by third parties and most of the games in them were published by third parties.

And I like Mario, Metroid, Pokémon, and Zelda, because that's what I've played. Make your own list if you like other songs and I'll gladly listen to it, because I like quality game music whoever the composer.

Ah... Freezeezy Peak from Banjo, Mayahem Temple, Grunty's Final Battle, Jolly Roger's Lagoon, Click Clock Wood, no? maybe for DKC3 Rockface Rumble, DKC2 Boss battle. And I think Blizzeta's theme, Hyrule Field, Fyrus, Ganondorf are pretty damn good songs. That's you own opinion, of course. But I don't understand why you don't love TP's songs. Some of them are cool!

dude! What'swrong with u??!! I went through the whole thing 1-100 and there wasn't a SINGLE Mega Man song!!!! That was by far the best music series of old school games, and I am sure I am not alone feeling that. Also, Mario RPG was left out and everyone knows that had some of the most badass music of any mario game ever...I want a recount!! ahahahahah

I agree with most of the comments down below, I think it was too many Paper Mario and Metroid themes, when there's so many others.

Some game songs I was missing: Zelda Twillight Princess, and the was so much more good music in Wind Waker than Dragon Roost Island... Diddy Kong Racing, Snowboard kids, DK RAP :D, Final Fantasy (1-2+Shocobo Dungeon( on SNES and GBA))

I was missing Tales of Symphonia (Almost the same as Golden Sun, but just based on the story of the World Tree (Yggdrasil) as well

Great Job ^^ But, in my opinion, I missed some from Zelda and Metroid, just like some other people. Songs like Phendrana Drifts (not the version you used, the other), Molgera Battle Theme (Zelda WW), Dinosaur Battle Theme (OoT), and maybe the Battle Theme from Golden Sun 2.

Tallon Overworld is music for the gods. Overall pretty good list, but I'd have switched a few tracks. The rival theme from Red and Gold had to be in, and some more Super Metroid and Zelda 64 game music would be in too (Last Day, Red Brinstar, Maridia, Ganon Battle, etc.). Overall though, pretty solid choices. I like the node to Golden Sun that many would overlook.
