That's so funny about the Gatoraid Gum! I remember thet too. They were small, like Trident, in original yellow and green shiny wrapper. I think they even came out with one in a shiny orange wrapper. But I disagree with the two piece minimum theory. For those of us with tiny tongues like a kitten, two pieces can give neck strain if you try to blow a bubble. But I've seen this ladies tongue (that she bit thru), it's HUGE. I'm suprised she doesn't need three pieces as a minimum.
Mike1977a1 - How can you say that? The past, or history moreover, clearly influences culture and ideology and these said things subsequently influence our actions. Not in a 'deterministic' sense of course, but actions aren't 'value free' I would say. What about patriarchy, or racism for that matter? Arguable, these constructs are reproduced through action, both past and present, and they're values, albeit frivolous superficial ones grounded in fear, but nonetheless retain force.
As to the whole dating game: I'm just astonished about you americans being so eager to jump into marriage, at such an early age. I'm 27 now, and I've never been even *close* to marriing. Here in Germany, the mid-to-late 30ies are the average age for people to marry, I guess.
Why did I enjoy this video so much? lol :) I can only chew half pieces of hubba bubba at a time, otherwise my urge to swallow it takes over, and I'm left with no gum. It's weird I know, oh well.
Gatorade was my favorite gum, and I remember the controversy when the drink came out--everyone wondered what it would taste like. That was also back in the days of candy cigarettes.
Never have been a gum chewer myself. Just not for me.
As for being single, I've been single for most of my life. I'd like something long-term, but I'm pretty apathetic towards it at the moment since I don't think that will be happening anytime soon.
that's right, 2 pieces... ahhahaha she get a little leary hahahaha

How do we know if we're going to like bubble gum before we have ever tried it?
Therefore you have to try it once and then you like it or not.
Therefore our values are determined by our past actions but our actions are not determined by our values.

because the consumer chemists in the lab have deemed it so. silly boy!

Eyemran, I think we are free to take many actions that we havnt done in the past, so i think our values change if we choose to act differently.
But yes i agree that we spend most of our lives not questioning our values so we are chosing not to act differnently.

I never knew how to blow bubblegum bubbles. I *also* never knew how to bloe smoke rings. I have the suspicion the two are somehow related.

You remind me of my daughter... which kind of sucks because I'm not that much older than you.
She's 21. She doesn't chew gum though because it makes her jaw lock up.
Why do you remind me of her? She has a great personality, has loads of confidence and keeps everyone laughing.
