unfortunantly for the people that want a good game, this is not the one. This trailer is about the best part of the game so dont buy it. Ea spends most of their money advertising the game and doesnt fund the actual game. Just look at every popular game taken over by EA. I hope this game bombs and EA loses a huge chunk of their money over this. They make stupid decision after another. The game actually looks ok. But like most of the need for speed games of the last few years I fear 3 big problems.

Firstly I have not been able to play any of the latest NFS games due to eye strain caused by the motion blur these games have, 30 mins and my eyes are killing me. can't disable it for some reason either.

Second, utter fake handling, the cars handle like they have water balloons for wheels.

Lastly, the cops have the power of 100 cars and don't play by the same rules I have to.

@TexasAceAA Eh, I don't know how I can put up with motion blur, but I can see it as a legit complaint.

Need for Speed has always been about the arcade-style handling and drift and such. In fact, like said above, a lot of things Jack does wouldn't be possible with realistic handling. Besides, photorealism doesn't need realism to work - ask Bioware.

It's more fun to defeat an enemy tougher than you. Ever had a Heat Level 5 chase in Most Wanted? Adrenaline rush!!!

@NerfedFalcon I wear glasses so that might be part of it but my brother doesn't and he had the same complaint. My eyes literally were hurting for over a month after i stopped playing shift. still not sure if i can see as clearly now as i did before. It REALLY hurt them.

Yeah, i have played every NFS game, big fan. I can take the way the players car handle as it is fun to play mindless driving. I have been playing hot pursuit 2 recently, the newer games are better but can't play them due to blur

@NerfedFalcon The AI are what really bother me with the games. I don't mind the playing against a stronger/faster AI. What i mind is them playing by different physics rules. If they were just heavier, or more powerful thats GREAT. But it doesn't matter how fast you go or how good you drive they will magically catch up to you instantly.

I want to be able to out drive them using skill and cunning, not just use brute force to get away. That would make it a lot more fun IMHO.

@NerfedFalcon I was, both the police and the other racers. All the AI really. No matter how well you drive it is all for nothing as the game is pre-programed to have them catch you at X spots on the track.

Takes a lot of the fun out of it IMO when no matter how well you drive you can never shake them due to them not having to play by the same rules.

Them being very good drivers, more powerful ect, fine. But at least make them play by the same rules that we have to.

the only thing Forza has over GT5 is a better selection of cars I actually want to drive. GT5's car selection is, frankly, already dated. And I can't say anything good about GT5's crash engine, becuase there's nothing good to say about it. Talk to the people that made Burnout Paradise for a good crash engine; that thing was a beast.

GT5's physics and drifting engines far outstrip turn 10, sorry.
