  • Bring it to my shop and we'll fix it for ya

  • Did you make a video of the after?

  • Very sorry for your troubles. The contractor should be in jail.

  • I feel bad for the customer...the whole job looks like a mess.

  • plastic is ment to protect top durin construction. it is applied after fab.

  • this terrible work

  • As a solid surface fabricator that is embarrassing whoever did that has never worked with solid surface before. The fact that the plastic is still on it.. Terrible

  • This is why corian is now trying to control anyone who buys corian direct to be certified so that people don't make their material look like crap. Even though corian suggests not to use is, it is industry standard to have plywood substrate in the commercial sector where in over 15 years of experience with it have never had a failure. It doesn't seem like they are using it as a substrate thought but rather as a platform and you can see they ran the round over through the joint... total hack job!

  • Anybody knows if this is DuPont Corian or look alike? If DuPont Corian, what color is that. For fabricators in the US, do you get DuPont Corian sheets with plastic protection as in the clip? In the Middle East, we receive genuine DuPont Corian without the plastic protection. Appreciate a good comment.

  • @Hishamov1 This is DuPont Corian - Serene Sage (D), not to be confused with Sagebrush. I believe you may have to special order and import this color, as it is not available to all regions. All Corian manufactured in the US comes with protective plastic on its face.

  • They didn't even remove the peel coat before fabrication. I am a Solid Surface manufacturer and this is the equivalent of taking the material, cutting it and throwing it our the door. Good news is though it could be fixed

  • Holy shit that is the worst seam ever :30

  • Fire the contractor and sue his ass in court!!

  • If this was my kitchen, I'm definitely taking the contractor to court.....let him eat the cost of the reinstall.

  • @1960Carolynn it would cost more to bring them to court than to just hire someone else to do it the right way not to mention is could take up to a year to get a final ruling and even with court order you still might never see that refund... definitely a bad situation, but this is why you never pay someone in full up front simply because things like this happen all the time to people who don't do their homework on who they hire and there really is no recourse.

  • Quit hiring mexicans!

  • worst corianjob ever seen!!

    What was the contracter thinkin´????

  • seam is amazing:)
