This was the ONLY ride I would ride at Busch Gardens. We use to go all the time and I'd run over to this ride and ride it all day. I loved this ride.

Then when I was 7 we moved to Ohio where I would go to Kings Island. Today I was riding a ride called Flight Deck, which reminded me of The Big Bad Wolf, so I went online to see how the ride was.

It was so sad to find out it had retired. I'm going to miss it and I wish I could ride it one last time! R.I.P Big Bad Wolf. <3

Enjoy Flight Deck as much as you can, she may be the last of her kind and you'll never know when the "no life" bean counters convince Kings Island to "retire" her instead of refurbish her.

extremely sad to see this closed this was my first coaster ever in my life i have gone to Busch Gardens Europe my whole life literally and this was always my favorite ride R.I.P Big Bad Wolf i have heard it is in storage and if you go there the supports are still standing it was just so sad to see the supports and there was no red tracks attached to them i heard about the new multi-launch roller coaster that will be taking its place and is opening in 2012 i am happy for that but, sad

Same type of coaster as Vampire in Chessington in London, but a lot faster!

@misty4033 Really?I rode this kind of ride at Magic Mountain in Calif some 18 years ago.It was called The Ninja.Its gone too and replaced by some wild ride.

i loved this coster.....the first coster i rode a BG and i will not forget it....it may not be there at BG but its there in my heart...may it live on in the hearts of its many riders

@9Diamondsoul haha yeh but the problem is they are not in the best economical situation and with them adding a new country they are short on the money. so it will be a good 5 years before a new ride. and it will be a steel. because wooden coastyer casue alot of noise and there is a resort (rich people type) that would disturb

it needs alot of repairs sorta lyk a revevation and its not raking up the numbers to just repair it basciaclly its not very popular so their not gona spend LOTS of money to fix the problems

Actually, they were afraid if it ever got to that point it would be both expensive and time consuming to renovate it because the parts are not longer available and would have to be custom ordered.

The most damning thing about it is if they had waited at least one more year, they could have had a parts supply, A Chinese company is now making Arrow clones.

@Scioneer if u look in the comments i mention some of what you said. but one factor is though ir does not rack big numbers for rides. and its almost like a diaster waiting to happen. but yeh pretty much :))
