  • Dear Blue Noser,

How come each time I read or see things you've done for that boys who stole my heart so long ago, still make me cry? I love you. Thank you! My David is now 26 but I haven't aged a bit. How are you?

    Love, Your Arizona Rose xoxo

  • this is great....very inspirational.............i liked what he said at the end about his parents letting him find his own limitations and be accepting for him

  • Hey John, You really insparational and i just wanted you to know that. Anyway, you probably dont know who this is. This is Alex and See you at practice on monday . WE GET TO TAPER!! YAY

  • this is sad.

one thing i dont understand is that i have an extra attached chromosome to one of the 26 pairs. I'm not dead obviously, and i don't have down syndrome. i want to know the meaning of this. i feel sorry for people who have the same thing and have the effects of Down Syndrome.

  • If you have an extra chromosome attached to the 21st pair you have 1 of 2 forms of Down syndrome. If every cell has the extra it is Trisomy 21 (most severe) and if only some have an extra Mosaic which is a mild form of DS.

  • PS....don't feel sorry for people with DS....they have the same dreams as you and only want to be accepted for who they are.

  • that is true. but we don't know which one is the extra. and the doctors told me i don't have DS. and i don't know anything about trisomy. they just said i have an extra pair. they thought i would be born with DS but it was confirmed i wasn't.

im glad for their dreams truely am, :3 i think its wonderful that they try to go for their goals. I just don't like how i turned out ok and they had to get DS. I hope all DS people get their dreams sucessfully. i have friends with DS and accept them :3

  • Awesome, Awesome, Awesome - Jonathan, you have been amazing us since the day we met you. You have procved to the human race that if you have the love and support of family and friends, you can accomplish anything. You are an inspiration for ALL. Keep the engine running !!!!! We love you, "buddy". Mel and Glenda

  • Jonathan, you are a tremendous example and an inspiring young man. Your Mom and Dad must be so proud of you. You truly are a miracle angel...I'm proud to know your Dad, Mom and Sister and hope to meet you one day! Thanks so much for sharing this with me, Peter! Gina (Dawn)

  • What a lovely, lovely video!!! I have an older brother with Down syndrome & he also swims for Special Olympics. Thanks for being so inspiring :) Cheers, Mary x

  • Jonathan, you golf, swim, skate, bowl better than I. You could give a mom an inferiority complex!

My only claim to fame is a beautiful little girl Christina, who is powered by an extra chromosome.

Thanks for the inspiration, I'm posting this on my blog. Cause of Our Joy.

Come and visit and see my daughter!

  • I have an extra chromosome or half of one. I remember going to the doctor's as a child to have a blood test for it.
