  • Extremely good point here. After all movies and comic are two completely different mediums...

  • The differences here are simply due to the amount of time and effort that went into the detail work on the CGI skeleton and skin; simply put the Sony movie was done to look "real" the Final Warts movie half assed the Zilla model because it would only be on screen a short time, and it was really more an alagory fight about classic film methods vs cgi.

  • I swear on the original Zilla's grave there must be a Mecha-Zilla vs Zilla movie!!

In short, it's a cartoon of the American Godzilla's baby fighting the original Godzilla that has been modified by aliens to have missiles and stuff. There are 4 parts to this entire American Godzilla episode that features the aliens.

  • I love how people always bash on newer movies because they aren't like the comics, but actually more realistic. 1998 Godzilla made by Roland Emmerich? Oh, it's nothing like the original movies, so it's bad. Ghost Rider with Nicholas Cage? Nope, not like the comics, so it's bad. Batman The Dark Knight, not like the originals, instantly bad. It's fucking interpretation, it's art! Not lets make the same movie 10,000 times with better special effects each time! DAMN!

  • @Mechaghostman3 Comic fans don't like comic based movies because the studios usually don't make decent films out of them, it has nothing to do with sticking to the source. And I don't recaall any comic fans bashing the recent Batman films. Also, art? lol The films you mentioned are far from art I'm afraid, especially the American Godzilla which was nothing more then roland emmerich's lame attempt on cashing in on the name.

  • the reason they don't look the same is because they arnt the same. toho made theyre Zilla look differrent because they didn't want to get sued by Centropolis.

  • At best, Zilla can give him an ass whooping if he tried hard enough. Kill him? I don't see it in his power.

Lol sometimes remakes are for the better like The thing from another world became The Thing and was remade once more. I don't know if the last remake was good since I still have yet to watch it but the first remake was pretty stellar compared to the original.

  • @Mechaghostman3 Lol yeah that was funny a lot of times they change it up a bit out of convenience. Like when he was weak against lightning against Kong and other times when he was powered up/ it had no effect on him. And yeah I know both can die but it still takes a lot to kill Godzilla. Remember the miniature black hole attempt? The main things that killed him would probably kill anything. Like the oxygen destroyer or absorbing too much power. He can regenerate. O.o

  • Kyle is correct. That /was/ Zilla. I love both of them to death and being realistic has nothing to do with it. From what both of them have displayed, It would be a good fight but Godzilla would still overpower Zilla. Unless he was sick or about to die or something. He heals insanely quick and his armor isn't easily Pierced. He is practially indestructable and may I say HUGE.

  • @PerfectAnon

Fire a flare in the air, get the Jap Godzilla to roar, and shoot a poison dart in his mouth a few times. Worked before until a nuke came down and created a cloud that zapped the Jap Godzilla's spikes, thus re-energizing him. Pluh, both can die, it just takes 2 methods to kill them. The American Godzilla can only be killed by missiles IF they can hit him, which unless he's stuck in a bridge, they can't. Torpedos seem to knock him out though.

  • @Mechaghostman3

Godzilla is immune to poison. Kumonga's spike didn't kill him. If I recall they were using cadmium. I don't remember the specifics of the material but I know it's used to stop nuclear reactions or something along those lines. This would effectively knock out an animal which is powered by it. It wasn't just Godzilla fans who disliked the american zilla. Torpedos just stun it but sidewinders cause massive damage? The bridge with out it's cables is staying up how exactly? =/

  • @PerfectAnon

    Cont.

However, in the original Godzilla Vs. Mothera movie, Godzilla was knocked down by some good sized missiles. {:-p

  • Actually Zilla is the one that's less realistic, from an engineering standpoint anyhow, in order for something that big to survive under it's own weight it HAS to be tough enough to withstand practically anything the military could throw at it. Never mind how something biological could possibly be that tough, the fact remains that in order for it to so much as even exist, It would have to be. Also the shape, the original Godzilla is like a living Pyramid, the American one would snap in half.

  • godzilla vs zilla

  • Anyone ever say that you sound like Cypher from the Matrix? I was waiting for you to start ranting about Trinity again. Damn :-/

  • Thanks for pointing out the reason Zilla lasted as long as he did in Final Wars.

  • @MrStiphenson Looking slightly different has nothing to do with it, the CGI model was made from scratch by a different company w/ a low budget, of course he looks different. Godzilla's atomic breath >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jet Missiles. The reason is that Final Wars Godzilla is the most overpowered version ever, he took out three upgraded opponents from the 70s which used to trouble him enough to make a whole movie out of in only 2 atomic breath shots each, which im sure are stronger than Zilla.

  • @gallavant12345 That was a poor attempt, on my part, at sarcasm directed at butthurt zilla fanboys who think the fight was too short.

  • @MrStiphenson Oh.

  • Neither versions are realistic. Whats so wrong with being unrealistic anyways? Realism is too restricted and boring. Its so much more entertaining when you can do whatever you want and come up with things that can't happen in the boring real world. Your so called "Realism" (which isn't very realistic) is what made zilla weak and less of a badass like the original. Godzilla can easily destroy the U.S. one with no effort BECAUSE of his unrealistic abilities. Id rather have a badass than a pussy.

  • There was a follow up cartoon series of the American movie that was short lived but gained popularity in comic books about the surviving egg at the end of the movie. It's possible that the Zilla in the Final Wars clip could be considered to be that such offspring to the first Zilla.

  • I just uploaded Godzilla vs Zilla (again), Godzilla vs Kumonga, Godzilla vs Ebirah and Hedorah, and Godzilla vs Meteor (again), look at the 4 newest videos on my channel profile page.. if you don't know much about Godzilla, you should watch those last three.. And they have pretty good quality.. plus i never saw the scene of G vs Meteor uploaded as a single stand-alone clip.

  • I still belive that during the final wars they didnt put up much of a fight. p.s. I still cant its not butter!

  • Man I could barely understand anything you said!If toho said its zilla then its zilla! You all zilla fans are the same! What the heck-Burn this video!

  • You're a fucking retard! 1st of all neither is realistic BUT Gojira has one up from Zilla! (his sauropod/elephant-like structure is more likely to hold up his own weight than Zilla). 2nd Zilla is an Iguana which means it's a 5 toed plantigrade Lacertilia with NO relations whatsoever to a 3 toed digitigrade Saurischian Theropod! They made an Iguana a fucking digitigrade dinosaur which are not even closely related! How realistic is that fag boy? Go back to kindergarten & learn something for once!

  • Nah..don't be jealous. American's godzilla was just a super enhance lizard by radiations. No comparison to Japanese godzilla. I wish American should have made it much better. No offense.

  • (First Comment :D) The reason Zilla doesn't look the same in Final Wars as he did in 1998 is because Toho had to recreate the Zilla CGI model based on nothing more than footage from the 1998 film. So of course it's not 100% exactly the same as the original, but it's pretty damn good considering that it was made from scratch. The only reason the graphics on Final Wars Zilla weren't as good is because the film had alot of other expensive computer effects as well.
