  • Yeah,right!

  • Actually it was in the plan for Adam and Eve to partake of the fruit. If they did not eat of the fruit 'no plan" "Sophia Sweetheart"your not here. i am not here and non of us are here. Unless you believe as the JW do, that the garden would have continue to keep growing and growing. Wait! it could not keep growing, as Eve could not have children until after she partook of the fruit.

  • THE BOOK OF MORMON IS TRUE! JOSEPH SMITH IS THE PROPHET OF THE RESTORATION, THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY TRUE AND LIVING CHURCH ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. WE HAVE A LIVING PROPHET ON THE EARTH TODAY, PRESIDENT THOMAS MONSON. I KNOW GOD LIVES AND JESUS IS THE CHRIST. I SEAL MY WITNESS TO STAND FOR ALL TIME AND ETERNITY, AMEN, KITTY CATHER

  • This is blasphemy. God did not want Adam and Eve to eat the fruit.

  • Religion is for people who need structure, guidance or something to live by... If there is a God i hope he pities are feeble attempts to control our fears of death and mortality...

  • @Stugots1337 You are above the need for structure and guidance? You have no fear of death?

  • i really dont believe wut the mormons believe in but still this should really be brought up to somebody that this was banned, if it was talkin about other religions such as muslim or somethin like that you wouldnt be able to bann it cause its not allowed at all but if it was mormon, catholic, christian, etc. it will be ok to ban from youtube. i dont believe in that religion but people have a freedom for choosin their own religion

  • I like how he rests the 200+ pound Gold plates on his knee like they weighed nothing. 0:16.

  • "banned by evangelicals."

    man, they suck really bad.

  • This is deep!

  • In that vein, let me offer three things you should know about Mormons which are neither trivial nor stereotypical.

  • Perhaps most significantly as the church grows, more people have a Mormon co-worker, neighbor, or friend. And, as people get to know Mormons they get a clearer, fuller, and more accurate picture of our faith. This is vital, since real understanding of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints lags far behind its visibility.

  • I find it hard to believe that supposed "Christians" spend so much time degrading other religions. Too me, as a Mormon, who believes in Christ-- and lives a life according to his teachings in the scriptures-- That I will never consider any evangelical christians personal beliefs so long as they continue to degrade, mock and hate. Do you write, that you may hopefully convert us? OR do you write just to mock. -- Either way, you are not acting as a good Christian in the way that you do.

  • Men and women I encountered were filled with a spirit of fellowship and love, often evident in emotions and tears that flowed when they spoke of how God was working through their lives, creating strength out of adversity and guiding them to learn how to love their neighbor the way Jesus would. These did not seem like hate-filled people.

  • “Behold, ye do love money and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick, and the afflicted. . . . Why do ye adorn yourselves with that which hath no life, and yet suffer the hungry, and the needy, and the naked, and the sick and the afflicted to pass by you, and notice them not? (Mormon 8:35-39)”

  • The following Wordles (word clouds) show which words were most frequently used by speakers during the Church's 181st annual general conference, held 2-3 April 2011. The prominence of such words as Christ, Lord, Jesus, children and family reflects the reality of the centrality of Jesus Christ and family in Church members' lives. .

  • For those wondering what is most important to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon), the Church's general conference is a good starting point.

  • It more believable then the original story, Its also entertaining. I see where Fiction writers get their ideas now. (no say do i believe it,) So, they want to be gods. Where have i seen that before? ... Oh yeah! Egypt BC. (I'm sure there is more examples). I also feel most of the followers and higher ups of the LDS church have a different agenda. Young girls, Blind followers, Oh! the money. the most important.

  • @MrFakegods "feel most of the followers and higher ups of the LDS church have a different agenda"

that seems like more wishful thinking on your part, thinking far far from the TRUTH.

  • @omiolo In fact, Its very close to the truth. completely true! Catholicism is no different, Just more like a Kingdom built on fantasy. I hope one day you will realize this.

  • I have spent years in and out of religious mind states. After 28 years, I've learned this more than anything. That I am not destined to be any one particular religion. I take what I feel is important to live by from each thing I research and I use it to better who I am and the way I live here. In doing so, I hope that I am influencing people to do the same. To always be your very best and let nothing break your integrity no matter how bad your pride gets hurt.

  • Book of Mormon True? Which one? How do you know? What about the internal contradictions? How about the stuff that never existed? How about the false prophesies? Where is the proof?

  • Leave Mormonism, come to Christ.

  • Happy fruit :D

  • A meeting highlight is the blessing and passing of the sacrament by the priesthood. Participants eat bread and drink water, the latter in individual cups, as a way of remembering the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

"We view it as a renewal of the covenant we made during baptism," Morin explains. It's offered to the entire congregation, whether LDS or not. "It's up to the individual."

  • ROOTSTOWN, OHIO

Safer Futures Women's Shelter of Portage County recently hosted the dedication of a newly renovated playroom affectionately called "Bo's Place." A special plaque was hung dedicating the play area to the memory of Robert "Bo" Biltz who worked at the shelter for many years and passed away this past May.

  • While this donation puts them closer to goal of $700,000, there is nearly $240,00 still needed before they can operate those rooms. Crane must be able to have proof that he has enough money to operate the shelter for one year before the board of directors will allow the upper floor to be opened to homeless singles and couples.

  • We're very grateful for those who have stepped forward," Crane said. "We have faith the remaining funds will come in so we can get people of the streets this winter."

  • In the spring, church members in the southeast will undertake a similar drive.

Food bank executive director Fred Scaife said the church-led food drive has been fine-tuning its strategy each time out. “This time, they nailed it right on the head.”

The donations will be a big help as the food bank builds up a supply that must last until June.

  • Some church members fell away into inactivity after the 1950 crackdown.

"Young men went into military service, young girls got married. Many of them didn't wish to come any more," Kaderabkova said.

Yet some kept the faith and persevered, like the Vojkuvka family, with young Gad baptized in 1955. "A member dug a hole in his garden and made a great baptismal font," he said. "We baptized 25 to 30 people in that font, mostly children of members."

  • World War II, meanwhile, ended the state’s economic isolation, with thousands of jobs in munitions and manufacturing that were later extended into the apparatus of the cold war in missile and space-race technology. In 1955, in a kind of precursor to Operation Telstar, the choir performed in West Berlin even as the United States and its allies were straining to hold it as an outpost in the Soviet camp.

  • A recording contract with the Columbia label in the late 1950s expanded the choir’s repertory toward secular standards; its “Battle Hymn of the Republic” won a Grammy Award in 1959.

  • Happy fruit...right.

  • mormonism is the crack rock of religions

  • Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb

  • During the Olympics, he said, we saw these images of the beauty of this area.

Church members, coming off the Olympic celebrations, which showcased their city, used the open house as an opportunity to share their religion. More than 40,000 people toured the temple during the public open house.

  • He said the post 9-11 era has made travel across the Canadian border more time consuming and difficult for Church members. In addition, he said, in recent decades the Church has grown in numbers and strength in British Columbia and could support a temple.

Vancouver, he said, is one of the most striking cities in the world.

  • You know what would be funny?

If a could of Klingons were riding bikes through a neighborhood in some city on Earth, wearing black slacks, white shirts with black ties...

They would knock on doors, and ask people if they had heard of the great prophet Kahless (pronounced KAY-LESS).

They would then bring out their PADD's (like the ipad) & show the history of Kahless.

They might show the little kids their Batleths (a Klingon sword) or something.

Do NOT bid them "Ka-plah!" as they are in a cult!

  • Lehi also explained that the Savior, "being the first that should rise . . . is the firstfruits unto God, inasmuch as he shall make intercession for all the children of men; and they that believe in him shall be saved." (2 Ne. 2:8-9.)

  • @Maorchid86 - are you another uneducated Evangelical!!! There where two sacred trees in the Garden of Eden , the "Tree of Knowledge" that Adam and Eve ate from and the "Tree of Life". The "Tree of Life" is in the story of Lehi's dream!!

  • Of Course I knew that About the two trees. I'm Sorry what I'd said before. But you really gotta see, listening to this story...well theres just, something odd about it.

  • LOL, and the invented apostacy doctrine of the Trinity written by Pagan Emperor Constantine to conform to pagan Pagan Platonic Greeek Philosophy is no "odd". Maybe, you just used to apostacy!

  • So you admit that you lied!

I guess your own religous message is not profound enough to stand on its own so you have to lie anout the LDS religion. Doesn't surprise me at all.

  • @Maorchid86

The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible and is a record of God's dealings with His chosen people in the New World. The main purpose of the Book of Mormon is "to the convincing of Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting himself unto all nations." (Book of Mormon Title Page) It was written by ancient American prophets for our day (Mormon 8:35) and is an American testament of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • where did you find these videos?

  • Gawd, that is awful. Why would you call this banned cartoons to spread your cultist nonsense? Can't you ever be truthful about your stupid cult?

    Pay lay ale.

  • @granitelocal Why are we a cult?-Honest question.

  • @AnLDSgirl Fair question. Thanks for asking.Signs of a cult

-The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader and (whether he is alive or dead) regards his belief system, ideology, and practices as the Truth, as law

-Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished

-The leadership dictates how members should think, act, and feel (for example, , leaders prescribe what types of clothes to wear, where to live, whether or not to have children).

  • @AnLDSgirl

-The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s) and members (for example, the leader is a special being—or the group and/or the leader is on a special mission to save humanity).

-The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society.

-The leader is not accountable to any authorities

-The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary.

  • @AnLDSgirl

-The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members.

-The group is preoccupied with making money.

-Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group-related activities.

-Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.

-The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt in order to influence and/or control members. Often, this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion.

  • @AnLDSgirl

-• The most loyal members (the true believers) feel there can be no life outside the context of the group. They believe there is no other way to be, and often fear reprisals to themselves or others if they leave (or even consider leaving) the group.

The Mormon cult exhibits all of thes sign to varying degrees. I was born in the cult and have resigned. The cult will call my posts "anti-Mormon" but is is part of the us vs them sign of a cult.

  • @AnLDSgirl You can add to this list

-Secret rites, names, signs, tokens, underwear and handshakes that only "worthy members" can witness. Blood oaths and covenants. Smith called them "secret combinations" in the Book of Mormon and then went about performing them years later. Very cultish.

  • @AnLDSgirl

The Bible tells you that the work of Jesus is complete and that no one shall add to it, lest they add the the wrath of G-d to themselves (that's in Revelation).

I myself am a Son of G-d & I write abt my life & times, n Christ bt I don't vener8 my works as "scripture" to be followed or put myself on a pedestal as a prophet nor a martyr. Followers of the Mormon faith r waking up recently with the advent of internet & reserching for themselves who the REAL Lord is (YHWH / Y'shuah).

  • @MarcusDarling4026 - Why do they all look like white people? Aren't they supposed to be middle eastern or something? And what's with people leaving the O out of God? I thought that was something only Jews did because they didn't want to "offend" God, isn't his real name "Yahweh?" Why would he give a crap if someone was using an english word for "deity" when it isn't his actual name?

  • @Death2Bigots

I have never seen a single biblical description (written- ..like in Ezekiel & Revelations, not some picture by a renaissance painter, stuck in grandma's bible) of Jesus or any apostle as having Arayan features at all except for Esau, who was a hirsute ginger. Everyone else has been described as brazen or as brass with hair of wool, which also doesn't sound "white" either.

There are no vowels in Hebrew so why would I make someone's name n2 something its not? It'd offend me. You?

  • @Death2Bigots

    I'll also share this:

G-d created all with language. WE as His children have ability to do the same. When we have respect for each aspect of language, the clarity of communication increases, which also affects the hearer & determines the integrity / soundness of the reality created THROUGH that language's execution.

How likely r YOU 2 respond 2 someone who hasn't enuff basic respect 2 even TRY to "get" YOUR name. How many times hav we wanted foreigners to learn OUR language?

  • Comment removed

  • @MarcusDarling4026 - I don't see why God would give a damn when "God" is not his real name, it's just a word. So the guys name is actually YHWH? Was he just trying to screw with people? Why not just have his name be <-+0 or some other sort of unpronounceable mystery symbol like that Prince guy did. Also of course foreigners should be encouraged to learn our language, but not from internet shorthand and phone text. We need forced literacy camps, I know, we'll call them "schools."

  • @Death2Bigots

lol "forced lit camps"- I kinda liked that one. heh

The YHVH was deemed "unutterable" bc it was a notion in G-d's mind ONLY- ..like a new name, idea or concept that no one knows but you. In order 4 the name 2 be established as His, there must be a hearer of His name, otherwise, It remains a mystery- ..thus, creation of mankind. A separate earth name was taken (Y'shvh / Jesus) to differentiate the abstract notion from the manifested.

EXAMPLE: Kiddo's name in "Kill Bill" saga

  • @MarcusDarling4026 - "Forced literacy camps, I kinda like that one" - Yup, and people over the age of 18 who still used internet shorthand would be thrown in a steel box while a tape of Hooked on Phonics plays.

"Who's Fred?" - Fred Phelps, you know... leader of the Westboro Baptist Church, God's predestined elect, the only ones going to Heaven because they hate fags and go on family road trips across country to protest people's funerals?

"EXAMPLE: Kiddo's name in 'Kill Bill' saga" - lolwhut.

  • @Death2Bigots

The boxes should def be LEAD (info can't escape it, only ricochet within). lol

    Kiddo:

Basically, I'm referring to "locked" characters or those w/ hidden aspects 2 b revealed LATER but only after a certain point, lest it spoil the story's continuity / structure. If u hadn't seen the KillBill movies, u DON'T want ppl who HAVE, spoiling ur exper. of it by telling u her name b4 its time n the films.

In the film of LIFE, its time to reveal HIS name, lest we cant finish this reel.

  • @MarcusDarling4026 - What's to not get about "death to bigots?" Unless for some reason they think bigot = faggot because they sound the same (which is kinda true, because bigots are bigger faggots than actual faggots.) I find amusement in forming prejudices about those who form prejudices of others and using all their silly little bullshit right back at them. I hate hicks how they hate blacks, I hate Fred how he hates fags. Its fun and funny to do to them what they do to everyone else.

  • @Death2Bigots

    Who's Fred?

Pronunciation: More like if someone spelled ur name "DeathBigot" or "TwoDefBiggots" which is NOT the same notion as what you intended. Disrespect of spelling damages the meaning (language studies). But what if ur name CREATED things & ways but ppl paid no respect 2 it, as a biproduct had been creating disharmonies by insisting on getting ur name wrong & blaming YOU 4 the disharmony created. SHOULDN'T they take the time 2 learn ur name properly or rest in ignorance?

  • @Death2Bigots

U also have 2 remember root lingual differences- ..ppl of other nations don't go by the same roots- ..like those Japanese t- shirts printed in English that makes NO sense whatsoever; they LOVE them, WE read them & their ignorance is revealed.

Take copying files- ..Do u make a copy, expecting the original 2 degrade to the level of the 1st copy? NO, the COPY must mimic the ORIGINAL'S quality. Natives aren't Xpected 2 learn th foreigner's lingo, but vice versa. WE are the copies.
