Anything this group put out is stellar! I luv A Flock of seagulls, I like the crisp sounds of the guitars and the beat the music flows, the vocals and music just match!
This song has a very sonic, sentimental tone to it. Excellent music. AFOS definitely helped kick off the 80's New Wave trend. That was quite a memorable time - 1983. Some critics on Amazon refer to the sound quality as "tinny". I don't know if it was the recording medium or the producer or both. Either way who cares they did the best the could with technology of the day. They are a great band. So many great songs!
