  • Absolutely loved the video! 6 star!

  • actually wouldn't be as bad of a life as people think though I would prefer a luxerous motorhome....

  • can anyone tell me the Latin name of this eagle or how to get one ......10x allot

  • "The Kazakh made an ally of the eagle, and conquered the sky."

  • Ya this video puts karate kid 3 to shame, lol for people who know what I'm talking about

  • respect to all nomadic Kazakhs!

  • Eagles are Kings of the Sky, between Eagle and man it is a Sacred Friendship - :-)

  • Thank you very much for this video!!!! I'm Kazakh and it so pity that in kazakhstan we are loosing our traditions, our life style. Living in big cityes we are loosing our connection with nature, we are loosing part of us! I was almoust crying seeing your video......

  • @rinokaz just wait untill the militant vegans come bearing down on you with saying terrible things.

  • with lovers from TÜRKEY ..all kazak peples........

  • wow..huge bird, never seen one in real life.

  • @NewSmithsonian what do you mean forced into submission? Hunting with humans is a great opportunity for these birds to survive. 70% of these eagles dont live past a year because they miss more than they catch prey. With humans they have food.

  • @jiglo1 You're probably right. It just feels like birds yearn to fly and be free. Of course that probably isnt the case when they're starving.

  • I've seen all your Nomads Life videos, and I loved them all.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. I really appreciate it. ^_^

  • the good live!

  • living like in past , without technology is much better . at least it gives us a healty life..

  • Beautiful video...I love ther traditional way of live

    Thank you for this!!

  • I had goosebumps throughout this whole video. Thank you for this. Absolutely amazing video.

  • fuck my life is boring...

  • @allan9874 ohhh yeahh, jajaja the mather earth

  • @beckjann84 and throat singing is still used in Turkey by mostly womans..... so stop accusing religions and make some research before posting. it is called bogaz havasi and used mainly by my tribe sarikecili yoruks (can be translated as yellow-goated nomads) . you can easily make some google search. i am muslim and i am proud and thankfull to be one every single day of life, so you better get use to it.

  • @beckjann84 stop posting this same words blaming Islam. i am a Turk with nomadic ancestors living in Turkey and yes my ancestors oncebelieved in Tengry centuries ago yet we are muslim now and do not understand what Islam deal with your traditions. my grandparents are still nomads in Turkey, but please get use to it. not all Turkic countries believe in Tengry anymore, some believe Islam, some Christianty but it is strange you only blaming Islam. and yes i can see how LOST YOU ARE.

  • Suddenly my own world seems so small...what an amazing place! It is always so touching when I see people love and respect animals in a way that is so strange to people in my own Western society.

  • @cerulee you need to check around. Falconery is alive and well in the US and some parts of Cananda. the UK has it as well along with several other European countries.

  • unfortunately we get lost... We've forgotten the throat singing and lots and lots our traditions because of muslim religion. Tengry - God of all nomads and only.

  • Wuo! it is a BEUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL WAY OF LIFE....

  • I bet that bread would make great toast

  • great video thanks a lot for shearing whit us .

  • this is amazing

  • There is a saying; If you love someone, let them fly

  • @Kenzofeis they do let them fly , but since they have a great bond , they come back to their "lover" ( to put it in your context ;) )

  • Can anyone tell me is Govi-Altai also Kazakh?

  • Great video

  • So where is the rest of the videos, your trip didn't end in Kazakhstan did it? Thanks for sharing with us, much enjoyed! :)

  • My hunch has always been that the Communists-especially Russia, did not allow the native peoples under their control to do stuff like this. Is that true?

I also wonder if the Soviets allowed country people to keep guns. I've heard some Siberians say they were allowed, but that does not jibe with the Communist way.

No wonder the Huns conquered the world!

  • @mybrotherkeeper Note to self: "Mongols," not Huns! Gettin' old!

  • where can i see more of these videos? These travelers are interesting!

  • beautiful

  • MANTEARS. Awesome stuff.

  • This video was awesome, i wish i had a cultural experience like this. What he said about the bond with the eagle was awesome.

  • Beautiful video, and very informative!

  • good videos, I've enjoyed it very much :)

  • I wish I had two lives ,for sure I would live like my kazak people as Eagle hunter and sleep in Yurts.

  • Great video! Very fascinating!

  • fucking epic.

  • This has been one of the most amazing and beautiful videos I have ever seen, thank you for sharing it.

  • watch?v=ThGrYQ1eRzU --- watch the Kazak folk music Gulderayim (on your video) in modern performance by singers from Kazakstan

  • Thank you very much for sharing this video. I'm Kazak (that's correct, =without "h") from Kazakstan, though at the moment I'm in Nottingham (England). That video is very useful for, as I now have learned sth about our nation's culture. I think, the great culture. We Kazaks in Kz r exremely russified nowadays, but our ppl in Bayan Olke (locals in East Mongolia) still keep our traditions. Berkut (=golden eagle) is one of most respectful birds among the Kazaks.

  • Ahau Gulderaiym kun men aiym......

    Kazakh people .

  • YUMMYYY SAMMOSASS

  • the bond between man and nature. such a beautiful skill. ....

  • @digimon916 It is a pitty that the bond between men and nature is disappearing :(

  • that was awesome

  • cant they just go to Burger King or something

  • Where do eagles live? Do they sell them anywhere?

  • Excellent video thank you

  • very interesting vid.

  • :) respect

  • its a fact that the most real and pure-blooded kazakhs live only in Mongolia!!!

  • Bul Mongoliadagi qandastar ma?

qanday jaqsi, qazaq üyding ishinde :))

  • This was very interesting to watch. I learned something today. :)

  • Thank you verymuch for this video!!

    Its really enjoying to watch!!

I'm glad that somewhere, in Mongolia not in Kazakhstan, our Kazakh people preserve our traditional way of life!

    Kazak halkim jasasin!

Aspanda burkit - Jer betinde Qazaq!

  • Өзің қай жақтыкысың? (Where are from?) Қазақстанда да салтдәстірлері сақталып қалып ұмытылған емес!!! (As well in Kazakhstan the draditions are kept and unforgotten)

  • Алматыданмын, казір АКШтамын))) Qaladagi qazaqqa tuptutkan dasturlerimizdi saktaluga tolyk mumkindigi jok

  • @kazakamerican Turk halki yasasin

  • @kazakamerican could i come there and live that way ?

  • @TheSwing42 Why not?

  • @TheSwing42 i was thinking the same thing :)_

  • zhannaa1 - The Mongols choose Mongol land. Of coarse ,Kazakstan is beautiful country, but 30% of its population is russians. It means Russia never will free you? as well Mongol. But in Mongol we are far from assimilation.

  • Is that a two-string lute that little girl is jamming on in the beginning of the vid

  • It a Dhumbra ! basically very much like a two string lute,,, many Kazakh families in Mongolia will have at least one musician in the family who usually will play the Dhumbra...

  • Yeah, it is!!!))))))

  • And I'M half Italian and half Russian from the Aginsk-Buryat Region of SIBERIA!!

So I come from a background of strong Shaman beliefs and the Catholic Church BUT what do I class myself as??

A PIE..........I'm a piece of everything belonging to every place and eveything, I see it's really disappointing when most of you are literally bordering neighbours and judge eachother.

    SHAME SHAME!!

My parents come from opposite sides of the world but they got along!!

    GET A LIFE!!

    PEACE!!

  • Zhanna, as u are half russian, i dn't have anything against u. "Living between 2 giants as Russia & China, you HAVE TO choose anyway". I choose Kazakh! No matter in RK, China, Mongolia, were i can feel real kazakh. We have survived in old difficult years, all of kazakhs everywhere so now I DONT WORRY ON future of MY KAZAKH nation. Eto mankurty kogda-to razvalili nasho edinstvo i razbrosali po miru, ya povtoryau na rodnom tebe yazyke Zhanna, no my vyzhyli!

  • Anau zhanna degen ne orys emes ne kazakh emes MANGURTKE konil bolmei ak koiyndar. Adasyp zhurgen zhan goi. I guess she is not Kazakh. NOone who respects and loves his/her own nation would say such things.

  • borat: you sexy time

  • NICE VIDEO!!

  • Well' our Kazak people we have great culture and beautiful country we must focus on our new generations to learn how to teach them to be good Muslim khazak instead of telling them you are uli juz they are orta juz you are better then them they are not a good kazak or whatsoever.

i love all of you no matter where ever you from:)

  • Kazakhs dont have to be muslim.

  • Ok, agree, but many feel muslim

  • thx to autor

  • I can't believe you people so ignorant. Of course not all kazakhs hunt with eagles or keep nomadic way of life. There are about 10 million kazakh people and mostly living in Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia, China, Turkey, Uzbekistan. The land where kazakhs live stretches for thousands of kilometers and very diverse in physical features and so are kazakhs.

  • Urban kazakhs living in cities like Almaty, Astana or Moscow comprise only maximum 30% of all kazakhs. In the past all kazakhs rode horses through the steppes and mountains, fought and hunted with eagles and dogs. Modern kazakhs do many things, some fly to space, but the Burkutchi, the eagle hunters are and will always be the most respected keepers of national traditions and identity.

  • But i agree with f1f2i.Thats the real Truth!!

  • I totally agree with Zhannaa1.

  • Yes, this is the same as you see american indians somewhere in Amazonia in Brazil. And you can call them brazilians but Brazilians are different. Kazakhs are different even within KZ, northern, southern & strongly differ from kazakh in Mongolia.

  • Zhannaa, you are such a typical Soviet brainwashed, Russified mankurt piece of shit.

  • yes, you are right, I am russified kazakh, I am half kazakh& half russian. So what? You mongolians always try to prove something, you are funny, but I like you anyway.

  • Living between 2 giants as Russia & China, you HAVE TO choose anyway. I choose Russia, because it is close to me rather than China. You mongolians can choose China if you hate Russia. It is your choice.

  • Even though we've been under Soviet eyes for awhile, I think we've been independent long enough that we don't have to choose. Since your half Russian, I guess it makes your job easier. But I have no Russian or Chinese influence, 100% Altaic. I don't see the need for me to pick sides at all but my own. I don't know why you Kazaks always jump to China when you think about Mongolians since at least we have our own language, culture, and way of life. But you Kazaks are clearly Russified to the bone.

  • You will have to chose anyway. Even Europe depends on USA. We all depend on stronger countries. It is normal :-))

  • Yeah, there is a difference between having allies than saying that your culture is the same as another. You didn't say you support Russia, you basically said Kazaks are like annexed Russians, with Russian blood and culture, etc. Typical mankurt bullshit which pisses off a lot of patriots. Mankurts like you also try to pin Mongolians as Chinese influenced which is utter horseshit and just makes Mongolians hate Kazaks, when in reality, it is mankurts like you causing problems, not ordinary Kazaks.

  • Sen neni bilep aytep otersen. Bular Mongolia nen Bayan Ulgii aymagendage Kazaktar. Kobinde Orta Juz Kerey,Nayman, Uak taypasinen Kazaktare. Anik goy kazak ten dombrasen koldanep jurgeni. They are Pure Kazakh from Altay region of Mongolian provence Bayan Ulgii

  • Bauirim osi jannaa1 degen orys shatasynyn sozine man berme. Kazakhstannyn kazagynan baskalar kazakh emes oralmandar maldar deydi.

  • Sorry!!! But they are real Kazakh people who could keep their language, culture, traditions and way of life. While a lot of Kazakhstani Kazakhs have lost themselves, even not being able to speak their own mother tongue becoming Mangurt. I spoke with many of Mongolian Kazakhs (I mean with Kazakhs who live in Mongolia), they never mixed with Mongolians or other ethnic groups, at least because of religion.
