that swap looks great i've got a 74 with an ej22 and im having some issues with it and i cant seem to figure it out. It starts up great with 4cyclinders and after a few mins drops to 2cyclinders . do you happen to know how to fix this? if so please email me thanks. jwread003@aol.com

Hey what are you running for a tranny? If its wtock what have you done to beef it up? Im looking to do an EJ22 swap and I need to learn all I can because apparently the stocl trannies dont hold up well. Did you use the adapter plate or a bell housing?

Is it possible for you to film under the hood as well? Cause I'm guessing that's where your coolant system is & that surely could only help with the Bug's innate understeer issues.

I was planning on a single exhaust mounted off to the side like performance VW's, but when I saw your video for the first time, I decided to do the dual exhaust as well. Mine is about 9 feet long. Your car looks great!

My mostly stock 1600cc dual port VW engine was faster than a lot of V-8's. GhiaRu's car would absolutly kill them!

Yep. The Six is too large, besides that how much more power would one want? If you want more just add a Turbo. And yes it is water-cooled.
