I just remembered his commercials today, and now live in Indiana and showed my husband...he was laughing his head off...he thought they were saying "pussy cow," too! :)

I think everyone when they where little thought he was singing pussy caw or pussy cow, LOL, it wasn't until 9th grade until I realized it's go see cal, hehehehehehehehe, how funny that so many people still think it says pussy cow, i think that double sound helped his business big time because it made his commercials more catchy for being more silly. I still like to sing along to pussy cow!

OMG!!! I thought it was Pussy Cow too!!! My husband and I are visiting LA. I saw the dealership and the song came back to me. I was singing "Pussy Cow, Pussy Cow, Pussy Cow". My husband paused for a moment and said "do you mean 'Go see Cal"? I thought about it for and moment and I just started laughing. I was crying. I really thought it was Pussy Cow until about an hour ago. I searched this because I wanted to hear the commercial again. Glad to know I was not alone. I am 31 :)

I've tried to find something (anything) that supports this allegation and have come up empty. Please don't spread ugly rumors about an icon without citing a source. The most I could find was that he retired in 2006, but continues to make the random commercial. I have found nothing that supports the charge that he was banned or ever involved in anything illegal.
