DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!!!!!! if you're a texter (such as myself) like i said before DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!!!!!!! it is a terrible texting phone. although the size of the phonepad keyboard is decent its soo hard for me to text on this because you have to actually push on the phone to type the letters. (its especially hard if you constantly cut your fingernails) so its not like the iphone where you just tap the letter. what am i forgetting...oh yea!! theres a looooong delay. i regret getting this.

My battery lasts for i don't now about 4-5 days,but i don't talk too much :) I guess that the battery can work for 1-2 days with a lot of calls and Sms :) I like this phone and it's very very elegant :)

thats just the camera... i can see my tocco screen outdoors in a very sunny day clearly. PLUS its only half the brightness :D

Its ROM question... omnia with old ROM life with battery about 2 days... I saw omnia working 8 days... standard use... 5 days in more than normal use... its decided by ROM... newest ROM = better life of battery :)

Omnia has Windows Mobile 6, so every app for this OS should do it. If they are free? Some are, some aren't, try searching for omnia apps or windows mobile apps. Daddy Google knows it all.

here's what i find interesting about the iphone first it's a lot cheaper then the first gen but here is where they rope you in. The damn data rate is higher plus you have to pay for a a lot more for text msgs so they are cheating you out of money I thought about switching to get one but changed my mind..til someone persuades me other wise.

a nice complete review, thanks. it does have a cooler interface. i like the application side bar idea. i just find iphone cooler, i had the instinct and the voyager for a couple of weeks, they simply SUCK. anyway, this one looks like one of the better competitors for iphone. we'll see how it goes...

i love the fact that iphone fanboys cant actually find any real features to beat omnia , end of the day they similar but omnia lets u do more ie bluetooth file tranfer , u can customize everything on omnia ringtones firmware etc , and it has good quality cam and a vid callin cam too , iphone only 2meg cam , no video capture and no 3g callin cam , face it fan boys u rushed out and bought an inferior product , unlucky

I'm with you there. The only thing the iPhone has over the Omnia is design and ease of use (kinda the same thing, in a way. In my opinion, if you're primarily buying electronics for those reasons, you're making a mistake. The people that truly want the features won't be put off by a longer learning-curve and marginally inferior design and that's why the Omnia is the better smartphone.

Features of Omnia are perfect but the UI and Acceleromrter, Multitouch system , Safari , iPod and every single feature of iPhone is better than the Omnia.Why are people around the world buying iPhone coz its the best available in the market. Omnia has 32GB memory , 5MP camera ,etc. but you gotta admit iPhone is the best. It may lack in features but apple presentaion of every single application its worth using.

The iphone focuses a lot on the graphics and the user interface. But some of the most important features on a mobile phone were left out (MMS, Video call camera, memory expansion slot, stereo bluetooth, video recording, flash...) So in termes of functionality the Omnia is a lot better. The iphone is more like a toy, while the Omnia is a complete PDA for professionals and power users. Besides, Windows Mobile gives more flexibility in termes of future additions and modifications. Peace :)
