Heh... they didn't forsee the ubiquity of browsers & the web, which was just around the corner... goes to show how it came out of nowhere and took off so fast! Those separate 'gadgets' have mostly converged into software apps on laptops and mobiles instead. Interesting upload... Harnoho dnja!
Ahhh, the good old 90's when companies would let you expense all the high tech bullshit in the world under the premise of making us more productive than our competitors. Now I tell my boss I need more desktop space and instead of betting me a new monitor he moves shit around and you can write there.
its funny, this would be soooo boring if i watched it at the time this came out but watching it 20 years later makes it so interesting because of 20/20 hindsight.
I was 6 in 94' and this is awesome to watch! NO kidding, I laughed at the $700 printer that probably did 4 sheet per hour. So weird to see what we have now compared to then.
Hi: Thank you for the comment! I was 14 years old in 1994. Two years before that my family moved to America from Ukraine. I was still learning the English language. We just got our first VCR and I was frequently taping programs from the TV. I remember I couldn't understand what this guy was talking about. But I was mesmerized. So, I hit the record button. 17 years later, I found that tape in my basement. I figured you'd all have a good laugh!
@anthodium I enjoy these videos you put up! Yeah, we have probably a hundred tv recorded movies and shows onto VHS tapes in our garage attic, lol. If you find anymore I'd gladly watch em'!
This is almost more hi-tech than now.

This just totally captures the innovative spirit we had in the 90's. What an optimistic time.
I hope we can find that same optimism again.

@mseales That's a hardcoded thing since text messages are piggybacking on signals that are sent anyway.

If you're the one dialing, you should have some idea. . . heh.
