IIRC, a transcription of this tune in one of the guitar mags claimed that George was in standard tuning with the exception of the high "E" string tuned down to "D" (gives you a "mini open "G" tuning on the top three strings). That said, good job.

It is definitely a I-IV-V progression you're doing. The 12-bar and 8-bar blues progressions use it almost exclusively.
