This music has a natural quality and goes well with their voices. Brittany Spears has a nice voice but her production and music is way out of control. I love this and everything I've ever seen Zap Mama do. However, I don't see her attraction to working with Erykah. She seems so much more shallow, even though her style is refreshingly off the beaten path a little, her message is still quite similar to everything else out there. I don't find her interesting. Zap Mama is so much more diverse and her depth of musical intricacy is in contrast to Erykah's. I do think Erykah is beautiful, however. She is just too entrenched in Western culture.
