I'm a huge fan of Stephen King and I love his books but I think they need to stop making his books into movies - no matter how hard they try, the movies will never be half as good as the books are. At least not if you have read the books beforehand

horrible, horrible adaption. I loved this book. It was amazing for all the underlying themes and i never knew what was going to happen next. This just takes that away and makes it into another cheap horror flick, as they've done with so many books.
Sort of missing the point there. Any explosives in the second exploding shell are present in the first shell. Also the gasses and heat emitted by a bullet mostly leave the barrel of the gun with the bullet.
But this is all a bit besides the point. Seeing as this movie is advocating belief in god I don't think their method of igniting gunpowder is worth arguing over.

@ageofpoo You have everything to lose if you've picked the wrong religion and end up going to a bad afterlife because of it. many religions have pretty stringent qualifications in order to get into the good after life. Saying "I believe in the god of Abraham or some generic god or spirituality" won't cut it in that case. Have fun, there are only hundreds of religions to sift through :) chose wisely

Crazy movie. God is love because He sent His son Jesus to die for use and pay for our sins so that, if we believe in Him, we can be saved and go to heaven. God is not everything, but created everything and yes, His will is done on earth in order to save the people He loved and created. Theology in this movie sucked, but an interesting story with a powerless god only able to say "no, no" when he was being killed. Which god would you choose?

I'm a huge fan of Stephen King and I love his books but I think they need to stop making his books into movies - no matter how hard they try, the movies will never be half as good as the books are. At least not if you have read the books beforehand

horrible, horrible adaption. I loved this book. It was amazing for all the underlying themes and i never knew what was going to happen next. This just takes that away and makes it into another cheap horror flick, as they've done with so many books.

Sort of missing the point there. Any explosives in the second exploding shell are present in the first shell. Also the gasses and heat emitted by a bullet mostly leave the barrel of the gun with the bullet.
But this is all a bit besides the point. Seeing as this movie is advocating belief in god I don't think their method of igniting gunpowder is worth arguing over.

@ageofpoo You have everything to lose if you've picked the wrong religion and end up going to a bad afterlife because of it. many religions have pretty stringent qualifications in order to get into the good after life. Saying "I believe in the god of Abraham or some generic god or spirituality" won't cut it in that case. Have fun, there are only hundreds of religions to sift through :) chose wisely

Recently, this has been demonstrated in an obesity epidemic in America, so that masses of somewhat young people die earlier than if they were thin. Crazy movie. God is love because He sent His son Jesus to die for use and pay for our sins so that, if we believe in Him, we can be saved and go to heaven. God is not everything, but created everything and yes, His will is done on earth in order to save the people He loved and created. Theology in this movie sucked, but an interesting story with a powerless god only able to say "no, no" when he was being killed. Which god would you choose?

when I read stupid comments like this, I ask God why he let s people live who curse him and call him cruel. Guess God is not that cruel at all. I also ask myself, who should God be held responsable for the misery some people do? He gave us free will and some people, who don t serve God, kill people and do horrible things. Why is it God who people blame, while people do it them selves? And what is so hard to understand that without suffer there is no happyness?

Anyone notice, whenever they show special effects for missing flesh from the face, the face is so much puffed up from that side, indicating there really isnt any thing missing. lol. I remembered this from good old arnold the terminator.
