  • I have a AXEcpv3 and i'm looking for advice on the durability of the cnc bell-hiller main blade grips upgrade . I'm a beginner and i'm doing ok, but i've broken 2 1/2 sets of stock grips........would it increase my flying time instead of wating on parts to come in the mail........?

  • good vid

  • thanks

  • good vid

  • sweet video, it'll help me for sure.

  • um my heli is vibrating so viloently that i cant fly it what are some other causes for vibrations?

  • main blades are probably not balanced, out of tracking or are damaged.

  • Sure makes a difference... My Axe would shake real bad at certain points - now it is smooooth! Thx!

  • Hi,the rotortail isn't work.no idea what can i do?loleter@hotmail.com

  • why is it so important to have it balanced?

  • Basically reduce any vibrations caused by the tail.

  • Thanks for the tip, very helpful.

  • another good way to get it balanced is get a hi grade sand paper and sand it till its balanced. but your way works just as well.

    nice video

  • nice video. i have some problems with my heli, do you know how to reverse the collective pitch?

  • I just looked at my controller you cant reverse the collective.

You probably got a rotor head that was setup backwards.

I'm guessing your blades are giving negative pitch instead of positive?

PM me on rchelimag (dot) com forums SN is team222badbrad

  • Thanks, yes my blades are giving me negative pitch. so i have to work with the head, by reversing it. thanks a lot

  • Sad to say, but thats what happens when you have everything made in (#%$%$%) and they want the slaves to make make make assemble assemble assemble.

  • thanks a lot, yes i found the problem it was the head. thank you.

  • You could remove the main rotor drive gear, hold the heli on its side, and do the same to the main rotor too, correct?

  • I don't see why not.

The hard part is figuring out how to hold the heli. Maybe you could clamp on the skids.

I second though maybe you could stick two hooks on the wall and place the skids on the hooks.

  • you could, but you can't add material back.

  • Good Tip,It helps,Any tips on balancing my entire heli ?

  • LOL-- sorry to hear that-- that'll cost you a couple of pennies.

  • I could get by with only buying a new hub and blade grips.

I am going to order some spares anyways!

Come on over to the rchelimag forums! (google it)

  • Great Tip-- I'll try it! Thanks for taking the time!

  • Let me know how it goes. Just don't separate your whole rotor head from your main frame like I did today! Snapped the plastic main hub in half after it smacked the ground!

  • Worked like a charm-- it's a little more stable. Thanks again.

  • why would you wnt to balance the tail rotor lol hehe

  • SO it flies better.
