I must confess, I dearly wish this incarnation of the band had a larger recorded output. They routinely displayed a terrific energy level combined with solid songwriting. Jerry Mercer always sounded like the end of the world on this track :)

These guys were really underrated. If they could of reached out to bigger markets they could of easily had 10 or more times platinum albums. They did have a ton of hits though. I think if they could of kept a steady lineup that would of helped and this would been the one to keep. These guys should be in the rock and roll hall of fame there music is that good not just the Canadian one.

I wish I could have been there! I saw them the year before in March or April of'83. at the Montreal Forum. Myles Goodwyn is so unbelieveably talented .

This band should have been SO much bigger than they were, they didn't get the exposure that other bands did. April WIne is way better than any of the bigger rock bands . Anyone who has ever been to an April Wine concert knows how incredible they are!

You know, this band truly had it all. Great melodies and great lyrics. They could rock with the best of them and make u cry with powerful ballads. Sure, they had some US success but it should have been so much more. Myles and the gang - THANK YOU for so many great timeless memories :)

As a Canadian who was born a little too late for April Wine's heyday I'm pleasantly surprised to see that they had such a strong international following. Pity we can't say the same for our strong bands of today, it seems all the Canadian Culture Council wants to export is second rate female performers who marry their career making producers. I think that I just threw up in my mouth a little as I typed that.

My name is Ken I have see April Wine 3 times in a year,they are fantastic the best group I have seen live.I have seen alot of concerts but nothing compares to these guys.They are very down to earth and at times get the chance to meet them which I have and had picture taken with Breen the bass player.Keep up the great work and sound guys.I hope you all still have alot of rockin ahead.

That concert was in 1984 ( late July or August can't remember for sure now but it was on their One More For The Road tour. It was recorded in Ottawa at the Civic Center. I was at that show.

From the 'One For the Road' tour in 1984/85. The farewell tour from the April Wine lineup that enjoyed so much success in the 70's and 80's. The tour sold out concert arenas from coast to coast.
