  • Dude, serious; how the hell can you call this for "This is how to..." when its not..!

"Dont try this at home" is really correct - unless you know how to do things, therefore I say to you - "Dont try this at home"

  • @BrageGundersen you can do it at home just dont do it at work were you can get busted by all the safety dickheads

  • Ooops, it popped of again!

  • Way to much starting fluid.. only need a quick spray around the rim. Then it wont keep burning inside an suck the tire in.

  • @K20wheeler

It's not starting fluid. You can use most aerosol cans and don't need to worry about it burning after you mount a rim like that. Petrol and other stuff would however keep burning.

It's an old trick, but you still need to air up after it's sat on the bead. But i'm sure you knew this. :)

  • This is how NOT to mount a 36x14,5 tire on a 14" rim...

  • lol fail

  • If this is how they do it in the US, I wonder how they do it in good ol' Russia.

  • fail!

  • failure

  • haha now you have to wait for the bead to cool down before you can try again :) Jk i hate when it falls over and the bead breaks.

  • he added a shit load of fluid & it still DIDIDNT WORK haha it came back out on him fucken idiot

  • Wow. You videotape yourself performing an epic fail and then call people pussies when they point that out to you. Great vid!

  • 0:20 FAIL!

  • you failed.

  • FAIL!

  • Darwin award nominee.

  • the tire bead doesn't even seal

  • great video the tire wheel combo looks great

  • these are the guys you hear about getting cut in half by split rims

  • for one it dint hold the bead retard and for to its ether not a explosive

  • @Adrienne82 For 1 you need to learn to spell before you bash another mans video , you cant even spell the word TWO and you call him a retard ? kindly go fuck yourself !!!

  • Lets see.....A tire shop using ether instead of a cheetah tank. Hmmm, how about a ratchet strap and some volume.

  • @greasybentwrench this is how i did it at pepboys i tried using a cheetah and ratchet strap and it didnt work fast enough so i was like imma store use some throttle body cleaner sprayed it in lit it and all four tires mounted on the rims in 45 minutes keep in mind though they were 49 inch tires going on 16 inch rims

  • Great way to fail

  • Too bad it didn't properly seal :)

I read that WD-40 also works for this type of explosive mounting.

  • u lost the mount lol, try more fluid next time...

  • Comment removed

  • That's good.

What is the aerosol spray you are using?

Is it something special, or will any flammable product work?

  • @stillbashingmetal i think hes using starter fluid

  • this is not how I would mount normal tires but this is the way you mount stretched tires, be careful with whatever fluid your spraying though, he didnt need that much

  • your crazy man but its cool

  • You're a fucking idiot. That's way too much fluid and you have no protection

  • @cwsluggers1 Would you say this to me in person?

  • @Amund7 Hell yeah i would!

  • @cwsluggers1 Nice! I hope you talk to people like this all the time, and get taught some lessons. I'd be happy to give you one.

  • @Amund7 I talk to idiots like you like this. Look up some other vids on this and see how to do it properly and safely.

  • @cwsluggers1 This is my youtube channel. I am the guy holding the camera. What gives you the right to call me a fucking idiot?

  • @Amund7 MORTALLLLL COMBATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • @Amund7 I'm not trying to say you're an idiot then.. whoever the idiot is trying to mount the tire.

  • Comment removed

  • @Amund7 you guys are funny...

  • @Amund7 he never replied. :P

  • @Amund7 will both of you shut the fuck up?

  • @DevosHeineken I can close the video for comments?

  • @Amund7 you're a fking idiot

  • @Amund7 freedom of speech unfortunately. im not going to however, but the guy doing the tyres can stay the hell away from my rims if his gonna drop them lol

  • @cwsluggers1 dumbass

  • @Amund7 i am totaly with you man! courage! this video shows courage. there's nothing idiot in it. people like british overindulged pussies would shit themselves by doing something like that... health and safety! arrrrghhh...

  • @cwsluggers1

And you are the most fucking idiot I´ve ever seen!!!!

Go to hell, if you dont like this video why you watch it???

Get a Life you fucking motherfucker!!!!!!!

By the way great movie guys!!!

    greetz

  • @Cassiiir I came across it and watched it once?? And I have more of a life than you do, fucking cock sucker

  • @cwsluggers1 It worked, didn't it?? It's pretty easy to do, and hard to fuck up. Pussy

  • @umlax45 if you watch the end it didn't. the wheel was still sticking out. just saying what i saw

  • FAIL!!

  • NORWEGIANS ARE AWSOME!!!!

  • Been there done that. Thats why u need a buddy thats been drinking to stand there with the air hose and loosen the valve core. Amazing what trail and error will teach you haha ps have spare valve stems on standby sometimed they like to shoot through the woods

  • he sprayed way too much. and btw this is from the military they train engineers to do this to Humvee's in the field.

  • 1: Starting fluid, or brake cleaner, or whatever you used is an accelerant, not an explosive.

2: You failed to set the bead.

  • y show a vid of a failed attempt

  • I read the title and was like FUCK YEA!

  • What a idiot!!! you half to put air to it. Im 17 and i know how to do that.

  • hahahahhaahaha........ after all that ether it still didnt seat the bead

  • Set the rim on the ground, then do it. Comon.

  • Be better prepared next time. It didn't stay on the rim. Be fearless. Get air in it sooner.

  • hey dude.. I do not use my car for a 6 months ago. and 1 wheel is deflated now.

I have no compressor.. can i do that???? please answer me!!

    ps. sorry for my english...

  • @johnwillyn you still need one... as the gasses in the tire will cool down, it will deflate again...

  • @AKAtheA ohhh thanks a lot man !!! nice video!

  • @johnwillyn no because the whole point of this is to get the tire on the bead. your tires are on the bead so it wont work

  • i love those tires, best for snow and pulling

  • nice fail video. and since when do explosives mean liquid in a can? FAIL

  • @DKcolin It combusts in an "explosive" manner. Get a fucking dictionary.

  • WD40 that shit!!!! LOL

  • WTF?

  • @barnesj89 I own a set of these tires. I did some shopping around and they were the cheapest name brand 33x12.50 tires I could find with an E load rating. I have had great luck with them in all types of terrain, including mud. Plus they wear great and are much quieter than many other tires. About $40 a piece cheaper than BFG all terrain

  • @albob20 If that doesn't sound like a manufacturer-placed review, I don't knoiw what is.

  • pussy jumped when tire inflated

  • does this actually work? i mean does this do anything to the tire or is it fine

  • Too much spray causing the air inside to change state which creates vacuum pulling the wheel right back off the bead. Less spray and pull the valve out to the schrader or you can just keep a pump constantly pushing air into the tire through the schrader valve.

  • FAIL!!

  • a 14.5 inch tire on a 14 inch rim. you are smart, not like the way the bead seats is different or anything...

  • put a mattress down when you do that, ur gonna scratch the mans wheels!

  • обломался?

  • you use way too much spray. like most.

  • what spray do you use

  • you did it wrong you suck!!

  • @demon318i That's fucking talent man, great stuff.

  • @Amund7 Sure..... and im the pope

  • @Amund7 could i use this for a bike tire?

  • @zezimawanabefriends for a tubed bicycle tire it's not necessary...

  • @Amund7 that was not talent, it fell right back off as soon as he did it, making him a dumbass

  • Isn't that bad for the tire? I was always told not to do it, but it looks so much easier >.<

  • FAIL................

  • You didn't mount the tire. It came off. Fail. Lies.

  • i never understood why people get these tires. they're super expensive and are only good for sand, not mud or crawling. it seems like a bad investment to me.

  • @barnesj89 I fully agree with you. But when our shop sell them, and the customer wants them, then we have to mount them as well. I'm sure they're great for the customers that do only snow, sand and tarmac.

  • @Amund7 yeah true, i guess you gotta do what they want but it's basically an all terrain tire with the tsl price tag.

  • Comment removed

  • @Amund7 Them tyres dosn´t seem to good at snow, thought. I´d rather have chosen tyres with more groves, here it is to much flat rubber.

  • waaaaaay too much ether dude. You only need a 8th of that

  • CREO QUE ES MUY ARRIESGADO Y NO SIRVE UNA CHINGADA SINO VEAN DEL OTRO LADO NO SE MONTO BIEN EN EL RIM

  • FAIL!!!!

  • i feel like you shouldn't say this is how you do it if it didnt work...it clearly didnt take.... those trxs tires are nice though

  • It didn't work, geniuses. 0:21

  • yes it is true 1 mol spary is smaller than 1 mol gas

  • Lol, thats not an explosive. Thats a combustible.

  • ahahaa that's awesome.

  • Easily the coolest thing I have ever seen!

  • if you had them put on at the tire shop why didn't they seat the bead then. ?

  • @chincha805 Because we are the tire shop...

  • haha FAIL! :P

  • Fail at the very end the tire poped off ahhaahha

  • thats actually a pretty good technique using the spray to light it to.

  • try using one of those air cans called a cheetah with air it will take two ppl one to open the cheetah to force the air in and the other with a air line

  • @bigjimmy2225 if a tire guy can't operate a cheater by himself then he's not worth his weight.

  • @TooManySnakes have you ever tried to use a cheetah and a do the air line? i don't think you have bcuz if you did you wouldn't have posted that comment. better question is do you even know what a cheetah is? let me tell you what it is. a cheetah is a portable air tank with a long spout that is flat at the end with a ball vavle on it.

  • @bigjimmy2225 You've got to be kidding man, I've been doing roadside rig service calls for years. Obviously you can't seat the bead on a 24" steer, let alone change a case and balance it up without taking the wheel off the truck, or you wouldn't have been offended by my "worth his weight" comment. yeah, it's a big friggin air cannon to direct under the bead it's a one arm operation if you know what you're doing.

  • @TooManySnakes Yup, we got the cheeta. Check the video response to this video.

  • @TooManySnakes yeah i don't think it is a one arm job if you know what your doing. cuz you have to hold the tire up to the bead to shoot air into it and the tank takes one hand to hold it up so u don't scratch the rim and the other hand to open the ball valve so it takes 2. now if you can get the air in with out holding it up to the bead then it can be a one man job

  • Didnt work did it, you can see at the end it's still not on =]

  • wath gas is it

  • you better get your facts straight thats not explosives its probly wd40 or silicone oil light a match it gos in flames do it with a rim and tire around it it explodes tada! mounted tire!

  • doing it inside a shop ~~ smart!

  • Cool technique:))

  • ha ha ha ha unlucky the tire didn't bead and came back off

  • Be very careful doing this with older damaged tires... I did this (using much less ether) with a tire that I had just patched and the tire literally exploded. The source of the explosion: the tire patch. It sounded like a pipe bomb blowing up right in my face and the hole in the tire was big enough for me to stick my hand through.

  • the tire is still not on it..paused at the last

  • woah i didnt know you can put rims in the tire like that.

  • freakin beast!!

  • Amazing that this is your most viewed video

  • Yeah, and it gets the best comments. :P

  • gotta go all the way around for an even explosion.

  • u didnt put enough because it didnt have enough pressure to hold it on the rim u can but alot of starting fluid or have a compereser on it to put more puresser

  • it went flat because you used too much, the explosion fills it up, but then fire eats the air inside and it gets flat, the gap was huge also you must use that much or even more then inmediately inflate it with air

  • @elemineseslapolla Remember volume, or energy is never lost just changed.

  • good idea im going totry that with a 3wheeler tire tommorrow

  • wouldint it have worked better with a tie down strap on it? to get the flexing started?

  • dammit it popped off again! I know you don't have to explain for the 30th time

  • This does work you just need to take out the core of the valve stem so it doesnt pull itself back off the rim

  • Trust me. We did.

  • Haha. It went flat. Ur not supposed to use alot if that shit smartass! U simply spray the rim once. Don't soak it like this moron. And u spray the fluid on the flame but face it to the rim. And itl inflate.

  • Trust me, we tried with less, no effect, not enoug power to push the tire out to seal against the rim.

  • it wasn't the air contracting because of cooling effect if you look close it didn't seat properly at the bottom of rim and the presurised air was still coming out while the tyre pulled itself back to where it was

  • i think it's because the rim valve is open...

  • cool vid good work

  • The reason the tire comes back off the wheel is because you put way too much starting fluid in there.

  • Not true... For the tire to be seated on the rim they use any flamable spray. When its lit inside the tire, it cause the air to instantly expand causing the tire to expand onto the rim. HOWEVER, what happens when the air cools and the valve on the tire is closed? The air gets cooler and shrinks, causing the tire to be pulled back off the bead.

When using this method, do exactly what the video showed. Then just use something to push open the valve on the tire so it doesn't get pulled off again.

  • The valve core is out. What we're supposed to do here is to run in with the compressor hose and stuff it down on the valve, that works, but this time nobody was ready with the hose...

  • HAHA.. failed.........

  • Well if you hook and air line to it while you light the ether it works just fine!

  • Correct! That was the plan, but this time the guy with the hose wasn't quick enough... (actually, it was me, and I was holding the camera)

  • Good try. Solve the seating problem and get beadlockers. Haha. Nice tires and rims.

  • Just buy a bead cheater will ya instead of adding video after video of this caper it,s getting really boring.

  • Inspect video frame by frame and you will see I am right.

  • LOL Fail

  • how is a fail, its a very quick way to pump a tyre up.

  • Replay it at the very end look it didn't seal the bead up on to the rim. That's why I said fail. At that it was an Epic Fail.

  • Seals perfectly. However, when the gas cool off, it contracts and effectively sucks the tire back off the rim! I was supposed to shock fill with air, but I was holding the camera... this is the right method, we were just one man short

  • It never sealed. Also if done correctly it will not suck the tire back off the bead. You should have had the valve core in.

  • I don't understand why you are saying this. The beads are fully sealed for a few seconds which is completely evident in the video - the loud whizz you hear is the hot air/exhaust coming out the valve. I am very interested in how the correct method is (I have seen people do this perfectly on Youtube - without tire getting sucked off right after)

  • Again pause video at 15 seconds bead never sealed against rim! If you would have had valve core in it may have sealed correctly. If the bead had sealed there is no way it could suck it back off.

  • It sealed. It did not SEAT all the way, but that is an entirely different concept! I stand by my previous statements.

  • how the fuck would you know, you aren't there. im sure the guys who did it would know more than you

  • good point

  • No good.

  • hahhaha, yea I got 225/40's on my 14x10's

  • Cool to watch, but ive seen people put a tire on the rim like that with a little tap on the spray nozzle.

  • haha WAYYY too much fluid

created a massive vaccum and unseated itself

  • Good comment, but without that much fluid it's not even near seating. We just need to pour in air right after it's seated. Maybe a different type of gas is better?

  • what kind of fluid were you using

try either carb cleaner or ether (starting fluid)

if your using ether be very careful with how much you use its extremely volatile

  • He was using wd-40. Apparently he had no clue what he was doing.

  • Again the sheer intellect of your comments amaze me. It is not WD40, it is starting fluid - but we have found that different brands behave totally different.

  • shit came off;. i saw that...

  • me too

  • You gotta wonder, who was the first to think of this one!

  • it was my idea first but i don't wanna brag !

  • didnt work

  • Hahaha Norske idioiter

  • was the tire completely off the wheel or was is off the bead?

  • wait till u light that can and it has a leak in it and ur whole hand catches on fire.... did it drunk once... not a good plan

  • Hehe ja de sier så :D
