  • at 2:43 you dont hit the tom its the ride cymbal.....

  • that was really freakin' awesome. i wish i could play like that.

  • Hey Gary.Bird here. Finally got fast enough computer to watch. Amazing. Never heard of TSO- into bluegrass now, but will check them out.

  • That was very tight! I have the same kit TD-10 I put this one in my favorites and a sub!

  • that was reallly cool! When did u start playing the drums?

  • about age 10, that's about 43 years ago! Wow, how time flies! Enjoy your drumming and thanks for the comment!

  • What kit did you use?

  • what kind of stick are those and what size???????????? i need to get some o and wat kind of set do u have i know its eletric but is the bell and add on causei am thinking about buying one and i am wondering if i should get one

  • They are 7A sticks dipped in yellow fluroescent paint. The drums are Roland V-Drums with an expanded TD-10 module. The bell sound was assigned to one of my cymbal pads and I set the pitch to harmonize with the keyboard. Thanks for viewing.

  • the dark part kicks ass

  • sounds like nightwish

  • Yeah, Nightwish is good. Have both TSO and Nightwish on my iPod.

  • I love Nightwish and TSO. They go pretty much hand in hand, as far as instruments go. Expcet Tuomas and his keyboards. haha.

    good video man.

    five stars.

  • I like the Poet and the Pendulum and Bye Bye Beautiful.

  • Awesome 5*

  • Thanks for viewing it! Merry Christmas!

  • Always a pleasure to hear Gary play.

  • Thanks for the comment, I see that you still are a Hagstrom 12 fan!

  • Great video! Cool effects, nice technique. I have V-Drums, too, and I'm really happy with them--especially when it comes to things like your extra bell effect. Great performance!

  • Very well done! and fun to watch.

    Keep Rockin'!

  • YEAH!!!! What a great entry. Loved the extra touch with the bell. I was rocking in my chair watching. Give this man a 5 star!

  • Thanks for the rating! That is one one of my pads that is set as a tubular bell, I tried to tune it to the right pitch. That's what cool about the Roland V-Drums, you can get a thousand differnt sounds. I always rock when I hear this song, I love it.

  • Good Job! I had the same problem with getting the audio and video in sync. I found a free tool called Riva FLV Encoder which converts an mpeg, mpeg4, AVI, etc to an FLV (Flash video) file. One I did this, I didn't have anymore problems with the sync.

  • Thanks for the tip!

  • SIMPLY THE BEST!

  • All around great presentation. I think your chances are very good.

  • Thanks spybond for your support and comment!

  • SWEET. I love the turning off the lights.! wish I would have thought of it :) 5stars

  • Thanks for the support. I should have had another black light but one did the job. The hard part was hitting the on/off switch at the right moment!

  • Great job! I really liked the creative idea of turning out the lights and using neon drum sticks! You really set the standard! TSO ROCKS!

  • Thanks Air Force guy! I wish you could see TSO in Little Rock next week!

  • Simply astounding. I loved it. The glowing sticks was a nice touch, too. Great job

  • Thanks for the response. I'm not happy with the out-of-sync sound/video but I had fun!
