The talking heads with David B. were way ahead of their time and you were just excellent, wow! I dream of being a electronic musician and have played for many years since the 80's and writen new wave pop, excellent!! Joseph Gomez aka Jack Sparrow :)
that was very good. I really want to learn how to perform my electronic live but I don't know where to start. If anyone could help that would be great!
I have to give it to u man, u do move and mix like a Dj but if u dont mind me telling u something, try to use sounds that don't disture the ear too much, by the way I'm Dj Kukuu from South Carolina in Greenville. Other than that you REALLY do know how to mix OK mate were great.
RhythmDroid, thanks for the heads up on the EMX.Just ordered one after watching just about every vid on youtube 8).One question;i've read a few people complaining about the drums been generic.Obviously techno/electro etc is based around simple drums ala 808/909 but surely they can be transformed and manipulated with the fx?Good sound design comes down to good use of fx no?Or am i missing something?Mind if i tap you for tips when i start using the EMX?Peace
Just so yall know...I'm using the ESX...not the EMX...the ESX contains factory loaded samples but you are encouraged to SAMPLE and/or LOAD your own beats....so the sky's the limit for the most part...
And Globallist...can u send a quick message to my YouTube account and we can go into more detail..thanks = )
From one Electribe EMX-1 owner to another and well respected producer I might add nice trax man you got some skills man. Lookin on gettin an MC808 in a month or 2 keep up the good work
Hey RhythmDroid liking your style very much!I came across this as i'm looking into getting an RS7000 to use with my laptop. Now you've got me thinking about a going for a complete hardware setup but what type of mixer is that, haven't seen it before and is that the new kaos pad?I need to get hands on!!!I was thinking about getting an MS2000br as well but an ESX...yep thats on the list now
Thanx 4 the comment = ) mixer: VestaxPCV180. Kaoss Pad 2 (want 3, but I'm a WAY broke)...So, 4 what u need...if you just want more sounds, an MS2000 is cool, but an ESX is a whole micro workstation...so, that might be the better choice if u wanna get away from the computer....
Thank YOU. Yep, that's my new ESX. I still have the ES-1. It's a little old and fragile now, but I'm keeping it for live applications...maybe real-time improv stuff...

another great track of yours...do you use sample in the rs7000
cheers from france...
imattzilla 5 years ago
for this song, no sampling avec le RS7000. The Korg electribe is doing drums, the RS7000 is doing melodic stuff, the Kaoss Pad is looping.
