@Heyzues1000 I don't know what wave you saw or if you know what you are talking about because that rail grab cutback was sick and one of Dane's signature maneuvers. And that board is one of Dane's favorite boards of all time shaped by a guy that's done thousands of boards.
heard a rumor that channel islands copied this design, developed the dumpster diver, and made up some story about cutting the tail off of a half finished blank they found in a dumpster. Surfing magazine had this video up for like a short amount of time on their site but CI had em take it dow cuz dane's sponsored by them, hes surfing in this clip, and they didn't want competition.
im surfing florida's east coast, which is usually about knee to waist high (bigger if storms roll in or on good days). would you recommend the white diamond or the squish?
@Reese360 i cant say i have had exsperience with both boards :( but i live in small waves in north carolina (east coast ftw! ha) and after tons and tons of research and speaking with reps and robert himself i would say u cant go wrong with the white diamond, everyone i know who has one is crazy about it, it has outstanding reviews, and i just ordered mine a week ago, good luck! but i would def say go with the white diamond :)
@mollylewislongboard yes i have 2 and i recomend it for what you are looking for. roberts boards are some of the best boards i have ever ridden and the white diamond is amazing. favorite board

Robert and I used to surf together when we were in our teens.
The guy used to rip. Still does from what I hear, but I haven't seen hims surf in quite a while.
I haven't surfed anyone else's boards but his for years.
