Now: Breeding dogs for their varied attributes are ARTIFICIAL selection. When evolution happens in nature it is NATURAL selection.
The point that you are missing is that if you pick any fossil from the fossil record it is a COMPLETE SPECIES. No fossil by it self will ever be "transitional". Nothing was trying to turn into something else. If you have two species, one evolving from the other, and you found a fossil of the first changing into the second, that middle fossil will still be a complete species. The gradual change is indeed in the fossil record.
Fact, there is no absolute proof outside of a time machine as to the origins of the universe, matter, or life forms past and present. Therefore my worldview is no less faith based then an evolutionary world veiw. The only difference is the religion of evolution is state funded, mine is not.

The Grand Canyon show the earth is old, it took millions of years to lay down 5000 feet of sediment and raise it 7000 feet above sea level.

I have hiked in the Grand Canyon, been to the bottom four times.
At the bottom I found
a layer of rock with only shell fossils in it,
above that is a layer with shells and fish fossils,
above that is a layer with shells, fish and amphibians fossils,
above that is a layer with shells, fish, amphibian and reptile fossils,
above that is a layer of sandstone from a great desert,
And dinosaur fossils on top
You didn't study the geology very much or you would know how old it is.
