It's funny how Christmas is attacked because of the pagan things in it, but the pagan origins of Islam is completely ignored. XMAS & THE TREE: The tradition of Xmas & the tree is a distraction from the true purpose of Xmas, which should be dedicated to honoring the birth of a holy man. The day should be spent in prayer, fasting, charitable giving, seeking atonement & forgiveness; not spent making merry, celebrating, drinking, egg-nogging, getting drunk, over-eating, frolicking, partying, honoring Santa Claus (a lie) & admiring a tree (denounced by the Bible), See Panel #2

Panel #2: And sinking into financial debt, paying the cost of electricity for the decorative lights & the over indulgence of gifts. Even if the 25th is accepted as his birth (which is rightfully September), the things that should be associated with that day should not be a lie (the myth of Santa Claus) or the remnants of pagan worship - the decorative tree, the holly wreath, the yule log, the mistletoe, the lights, the tinsels of gold & silver & the Xmas balls.
