  • What is the most one should pay for an M1 Carbine?

  • just wanted to let you know there are 2 different 7.62s... one is a 7.62x39 the other is a 7.62x54 which the 7.62x54 is what the mosin-nagant shoots :P i have the same mosin just wanted to add a helpful tip

  • Krag made long rifles, karabines and automatics too for norway. I own 2 krag. A karabine realy light, a long rifle, k98 made into 30.06

  • You need a norwegian krag jørgensen rifle too, they are nice.

  • For me if I was to choose a guns above for war, no way I would have picked the Enfield. It's just to heavy and the recoil kick is stressing with the 10 rounds speed shooting like a MG. The Kar98K isn't bad. It has less recoil than the SMLE and it's WAY lighter to handle. If you own a Krag, you know what I mean with the recoil of the SMLE. The only prob with the Krag is that it's loaded 1 by 1 and not a stripper clip but with a loader box, it's fast and the bolt action is even smoother than SMLEs

  • @MrLolx2u - Its pretty obvious that I own & shoot all of these guns, and have duplicates of all of them too... and the Enfield is the easiest kicker of any of the fullsized WWII battle rifles I own. That you say it kicks hardest tells me your likely an XBox gun expert. The 98K is the heaviest kicker on that table, at least with the 8mm ammo I've shot for 20 years - although that little russian gun kicks pretty hard too.

KRAG?! WTF? Thats a cowboy gun! Thats effed up man, ultra noob comparison

  • I owned both the Mk.3 Lee Enfield and a Krag. Both are hard to sought for ammo but if your saying about 30.40 Krag vs .303, Krag rounds are way harder to find due to the guns not fully into production in WW2 when Germany took over the country while .303s were made everywhere in the Empire. India, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Malaya, Borneo all made .303 rounds. I often bought my .303 from Australia in the past and now I still have 10 boxes still safe and sound w/o any rust.

  • I've only ever liked the enfield and the k98, all are amazing rifles though

  • @dasdew2 - I much preferred Finnish Nagants, and collected the M27/28/39 series instead. Never got into the Soviet Nagants really.

  • @FrenziedCalm Well they are better quality but ammo is harder to find(from what I hear).

  • @dasdew2 - the Finnish Nagants shoot the same ammo as the Russian/Soviet Nagant rifles.

  • i own a lee enfield and it is a great gun but with the cost of amo you mite as well shoot your wallet

  • @wihuntclub lol yeah, its the price of .308, to be fair most are expensive to shoot save for the mosin nagant

  • @wihuntclub - agreed, ammo is outlandish. You can occasionally find discounted CORROSIVE ammo. But thats kinda like feeding your infant baby 3 day old Taco Bell. It creates one helluva mess, and if your baby gets all messed up your gonna feel real guilty. The ammo issues don't alter though that the Lee-Enfield No.4 is my favorite WWII gun.

  • He keeps kids in his basement to shoot guns and play video games... :P

  • Nice collection. I never really understood why they would the M3 bayonet band on the M1 Carbine.

  • that ding from the m1 killed soilders aswell

  • nice collection. thanks for sharing.

  • The Lee enfield No.1 MK.3 Was defently the best WW1/WW2 gun, bigger&heavier than the MK.4, but more accurate and longer range, makes me proud to be british.

  • @TheBibby321 - I much prefer the peep style sights of the No.4 MkI guns myself. Probably an American thing, all of our military rifles seem to come with them, makes it easy to kill bad guys at all distances, even when drunk.

  • @FrenziedCalm I think the Mk.3 & 4 enfield also came with peep sights, accurate up to 300 ft or summet like that, modern ones are probs better tho

  • Awsome

  • My Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk1 has an L type rear sight.

  • M44 was never used in WWII. However, a few were shipped to red army troops in WWII. The M44 Was widely used in korea and vietnam, though. The variants used in WWII were the 91/30, 91/30 PU (sniper) and the M38 carbine.

  • @SSAirsoftowns - stick to airsofts kid. The Soviet M44 WAS issued to troops as early as 1943 and they WERE shooting germans with them right up until the end of the war. To say the "M44 was never used in WWII" is completely and utterly incorrect.

  • @FrenziedCalm Are you stupid? I'm an airsofter and a gun collector. The M-44 was prototyped an fielded in 1943.

  • @SSAirsoftowns - whahahahaha... and we have another stupidity ban for 2011 !!

  • the M1 Garand shoots a 30-06 round but back in the 1940's it was considered a 30 cal. thats why they say cal. 30 right under the serial number. And if you really needed to you could shoot a 308 round out or the M1 Garand since the 308 is smaller then the 30 cal (30-06).

  • Nice collection, kinda covers the factions....... and options eh :)

I would love to obtain a LongBranch....

  • m44 is beautiful, wish mine was in that good of shape! great vid!

  • I guess you're not a complete alchoholic phsyco,I guess I thought that because this is you're only nonzombie video I've seen so far.but when you were demonstrating the M1 Garand clip insert I was thinking,Holy shit,he's gonna load a fricken M1 In the house...

  • @Bloodyvains71 - love tormenting commenters on those Zombie vids. With my court ordered meds and house arrest, tormenting YouTubers is about the only fun I get anymore.

  • @FrenziedCalm Oh I get it,but I did'nt see you as a pshyco path, more of just funny.

  • they came out with the m1 30 round mags later in Korea. Canada was still using the enfield though.

and the enfield mag was only detached for cleaning.

( oh ya you said "like you see on the earlier enfields" it was on the later ones. the first enfields used blade bayonets :)

  • @MrToadland1 - My early Longbranch and Savage No.4MkI's both came with cruciform bayonets by Savage and Singer I believe? See & received plain spike bayos with later models. Don't have any with actual blade bayos, you talking pre No.4?

  • @FrenziedCalm yes on the no I's like the 1907 pattern blade bayonet.

  • the m1 carbine is the only one on the table thats 30 cal

  • @375zombiekiller - Three of the firearms on the table are "thirty cal". The two that remain are "thirty one cal" and "thirty two cal". Can you name which is which?

  • @FrenziedCalm the m1 garand m1 carbine svt are the three 30 cals the kar98k is a 32 cal and enfeild is a 31

  • I only have a mosin 91 30 but every gun on that table is a work of art.

  • Wow this is great! thank you for sharing! This is the best WWII gun video i have seen yet because you don't base all of your knowledge on Call of Duty.

  • how did you get these weapons?

  • @Heiryuu he bought them, this is America.

  • @Heiryuu lol online dumby

  • @Timespartan111 i meant like where did he get them or how like what organization did he buy them off of at teh time i didn't realise you can get the stuff from the CMP that's why i was asking.

  • @Heiryuu oh u can get all of them at big 5 sporting goods

  • Beaaaauuutiful. I have a Japanese Type 99 sniper rifle, but im missing the scope. Have you any interest or knowledge about this gun?

  • If there is a big crest on the top of the reciever on the k98 its a yugo capture, if not what is the code on top of it, most say bnz, bcd, byf, ce, s/42, and so on.. also since you have a cuped but plate stock means that the stock was made in 1941-1944 the 1945 stocks had no take down sisk in it so the but plate had a hole in it (wich you dont have) so its not a 1945 rifle, if there is a small x on the side of the reciever that means it is a russian capture, hope this helps!

  • Carbine's a post war rework (type 3 barrel band, post war rear sight, later style safety). 15 and 30 round mags were Korean war use, and 30 rounder was designed for the M2 carbine actually.

The m44 is a post war Czech or Ukrainian rework with the crossbolt on the wrist, laminated stock, can't tell from the video but it looks like it's probably Ishevsk production with pressed in brass sling escutcheons.

Overall some very nice guns. Haven't seen an M1 that nice in many years...

  • nice guns i got two mosin-nagants im looking for a mauser 98k i say it was the best gun of the war

  • @ARYANSSONS M1 garand was the best gun of the war, it was semi auto while you have to work the bolt on the 98k

  • @Ytown08 - wasn't the best in terms of reliability. using a clip was a must on the m1, but not the k98.

  • @ARYANSSONS have you tried to put a scope on your mosin? if you haven't i would suggest being careful if you do.

  • Very nice...I have not had the pleasure of shooting the M1 Carbine, my grandpa brought one home from Okinawa while on the USCGC Taney on convoy duty, it's with his wife and probably in dubious condition now that he's passed...never got to shoot it, so i may just get one from the CMP. I just got my CMP M1 Garand, it's a beaut!

  • Great collection you've got there. Those guns are history you can hold in your hands, not to mention take to the range.

  • Great guns! All are classics! Thanks for sharing!

  • very nice guns frenzied. all are fun shooters. nice vid.
