@milkyway531 No it certainly wasn't God Who made Karlie sick. The enemy (satan) comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But Christ came to give us life that we may have it to the full. God is simply taking what satan meant for harm and turning it into something for good.
@livin4God1983 If we assume that god is omnipotent, as your bible says is so, then why would he create an angel, Lucifer, whom he knew would turn against him? He is either really bored, doesn't care, is sadistic, or doesn't exist. What is good about this child suffering? Is it a test? If he is omnipotent he doesn't need tests and therefore we are simply an ant farm made for amusement. You are simply latching onto something made up to make you feel better about your situation.
222, I am really sorry you feel that way. Part of God's miraculous hand is working through others like the Christian doctor who treated Karlie and prayed with her family. Not to mention he sought the Lord's guidance in his treatment for her care. I pray that you will one day come to know Him and His love for you.
