She is what is called a Parvipe yellow nape. Her mother is a yellow nape and her father is a double yellow. When amazons were first imported, no one really knew that they were different species, they thought the males were the double yellows and the females were the yellow napes. We do not own the pair, and we do not hybridize. The pair have been together for 20+ years. Though we feel it is wrong to hybridize, we also feel it would be wrong to separate a pair that have been together so long
