The secret is... this car is MUCH BETTER than a GTI. It's like a GTI... only sexier, more agile, sleeker and better looking. The cost is a slight reduction in utility space. Well worth the trade. Scirocco much sleeker, wider and lower to the ground... GTI looks like a narrow, too tall awkward van in comparison.

False advertisement because this was looked like it was as fast as the Golf GTI but its not. Top gear is much better

@iCheckVtec I know its stupid but I think the "Its Explosive" one was amazing. I don't know why but I like it, maybe because it gives you something else to look at instead of a lame FWD run of the mill hatch. Your right though, I think this commercial is just sad, certainly not down to earth and just korny.

Obviously, it wasn't a UK scirocco ad, and the campaigns for VW seem to be done separately by a different advertisement company for each country, and, I doubt that was the UK one ;)
