Actually here's an even easier version: Go to a flat area. Dig a hole 4 blocks deep, 1 block wide, and 3 blocks long. Go to the bottom of the hole, place bed, cover roof with 2 dirt, and sleep. You could also stick a torch in the if you wanted.
