Hi there its must have been more than a year ago when I left you a message thanking you for this vid tutorial.Well I've only just purchased my MPD32 and had to watch your vid once again.I must say thanks once again because it was very helpful. The only problem is there is a kind of a delay I think its called latency when I press the pad in relation to hearing the sound. Do you know of a way of reducing or getting rid of that?

hey thanks for that.... I was trying to figure out why one pad didnt work. edit worked ... it musta been cuz i let my boy play wit my mpd and he proly just started turning knobs and pressin buttons... good looks and good luck with your work flow...:)

@zacandmusic me too, and i`ve been driving myself crazy trying to figure it out lml! and it seems that alot people either have the 24 or 32..why not the 26?

@FreshPrince5195 i have a solution to fl studio, go to generators/ then drum sampler/ then find fpc, click on "empty" if you see it, then drag the drums you want onto each pad, go to midi note, then click on learn its on the far left, then click the pad you want the drum on :) keep searching man youll get it, im only 14 and i did haha

@zacandmusic wow i got you by a year, im 15 and i was doing it that way but it seemed there had to be a easier way, and then when i would save presets and try to upload later it wouldnt work -___- so my friend told me to just hit map entire bank? or something close"its right under lean" and then you go through and hit every pad 1-16 in bank a then click bank b and do the same. from there save as preset and theres your bread and butter ! but thx, cause before my told me, i was going crazy lol

I just got my mpd32 hooked up to my 'puter, fresh out the box. but i cant get it to work, help, please!!!!!!!!!!!! I did what you said right up to not the clicking enter. Instead of 36 it came up at 6o. the where you have cc mine came up like this > 1A • note • 060 • MTY • CPR. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks, im a newbie :)

Hi there thanks for this tutorial. I'm getting an mpd32 in a few weeks time but I wanted to find out if when playing the mp32 with FL Studio is there any delay or what sometimes refered to as latency because I get that when I use my present keyboard controller with FL Studio.

Can I use the MDP with FL Slicer instead of the FPC ? Cause I like Slicer more. I cannot trigger slice's from Slicer, but I can with the FPC. Somebody know the problem ?

how come my mpd24 "full level" button works on fl8 but the "16 levels" button dont spread the sound accross my 16 mpd24 pads? can ANYONE help me with that?

also my top slide faders above mpd pads dont do shit on fl8, please help.

how do i change pitch on mpd or fpc and why are the samples overlapping and canceling out my last mpd sound.

there's loads of ways to do dis but the easiest way is right click on the pad hit learn and den hit the note I'm not explaining it exact cos I got rid of fruity so i cant remember how it works 100% but I know it takes about a 30s to set it all up .good vid though

there's another way to do it its much wayyy easier the way i do it, and yu can actually save it to where everytime you open fl it already reads the pads.. too bad i dnt have a camera to show you how to do it

Hey great tutorial, it was a real big help for me with mapping out my mpd32. I just want to know, this was about mapping out Pad Bank 1. Do you have a tutorial on how to map out the Pad Bank 2? Is it the same numbers as Pad Bank 1?. And also I'm trying work on beats but everytime I set my samples my sound samples always overlap my kicks and snares too much.

Thanks i got more tuturials comming this week. but to answer your question, yes you would just do the same with each pad bank. for some reason mpd pads dont match up i dont know why that is so you have to search for the sound my doin as i showed in the video for each bank. and as as for the overlap sound i will have a tuturial about that. so please stay in touch.. thanks
