inter-marriage does not solve racism. Britain is still one of the most racist english speaking countries. There is still a lack of understanding around race. I watched a documentary where white grandparents were using derogatory racist terms around their mixed race grand-kids. I lived in the UK and saw this first hand. You can inter-marry- but divorce rates are higher among mixed race couples. It does not solve racism.
