Wudup? Wish I woulda saw this video when it kkkame out. Crackerbash wuz a killer live band butt pretty much all their recorded output sorta sucked that iz why nobody really kkkarez. THis song and 4 liter from the album were the best recorded output. All of the 7" stuff on imp records wuz a waste of time in 4/4 time butt watch me drop this stupid dope funky fresh rhyme nigga! Sean Scrodum PDX Hipster of the grunge decade. I'll prolly get alot of flak 4 sayin' that.
Crackerbash was never a grunge band. The band was formed in late 88' by Sean C. and Scott Fox and some dick who kinda got everyone together( not teddy). ted was their 3rd Drummer. When they broke up is when they where getting right in the studio, going for more of a mid 80's D.C. sound mixed with 8o's post punk. They broke for the classic reasons Bands break up!!!!!!! Love ya sean, ted and scott. J.A.
I feel better. Every rock band playing today should be paying royalties to Crackerbash. Whatever happened to Jr. High? It was Sean's post CB band with Salem's own Time Killing Isabelle's bassist (sorry, don't remember your name, man). If you like CB, try to find some Jr. High - 'Walk Like a Man' is good.
You are a bit confused. I played bass in Time Killing Isabel, but Dave Alspaugh - the singer/guitarist of TKI - is the one who played in Jr. High. He replaced Dan Hawthorne on guitar. Sean was looking for a bassist and guitarist when he saw Dave and I playing in the Videls - he hit Dave up for the gig (in spite of the fact that I was the one who desperately wanted to join the band) and passed me over in favor of Brendan Welsh, who was friends with Paulie (drums).
I can't speak for the band, but I know that Paulie was busy playing in several acts (Elliott Smith, Jr. High, No. 2) and I think that it got to be too much. There might have been other reasons that led to the demise of Jr. High...I don't know. They were easily one of my favorite PDX bands. Live, they were on fire. Sean's energy was contagious. Nice guys and great musicians.

Yeah Uppin' the Ante rules!!! One of my top 3 favorite snowboarding movies of all time. I can see the movie in my head when I hear this. Salasnek kicks ass. I watched the tape so many times it wore out and I had to buy another... This song is great.
Sean was my buddy's Storms idol and didn't he work at Escape from NY Pizza where you could work and have a band and pay your property taxes and have a home with a basement to play in. hOW Rad! Who knows now! Joe
check out their myspace page, there is a video available for purchase of an early (92-ish) show from Denmark, and their 2005 reunion show in Portland.

I still really like this song. It hasn't aged like some of the other songs from that era. A testament to great writing and playing.

There has to be some kind of live footage of these guys somewhere!
There is a very short snippet of Bandages in the opening minutes of the documentary "Hype" and it's the best musical moment of the whole movie.

I was replying to the guy talking about Hype, then called myself an idiot when I realised he'd already said the name of the song in his comment.
Don't know why I'm bothering to reply to this though, I must feel like I have some sort of reputation to protect...
