i had the same problem and found out that it wasn't tuned so try that! after i tuned it up it sounded way better!!

@ilikemistermonkey The first one I tried was nothing else matters but thats only easy in the beginning.. "come as you are - nirvana" is also easy in the beginning. Both make a lot of fun. I´m not doing very well but it already sounds like something. That motivates me a lot to practice. :-D hope you have the same fun like me..

well i mean its a good way for begginers but you need to put a capo on the 9th fret and u use completely different notes like C's F's D's but a good way for BEGGINERS

right i have had my guitar bout year now and it took me forever to change chords but instead of learning songs just practise cord change, plus dont over do it cause you fingers will hurt, i found out :L hope this helps and now i am quick at changing chords with no buzzes

me 2 on the am...i play first finger on 2nd string, third finger on 1st string, and second on 3rd string....then it is an extremely easy transition with the first finger just moving one fret over
