This is just beautiful. I'm only 17 at the moment, but there is not one day, where I don't dream about having my very own Dodge Charger! The mechanics in this car is so very exclusive and that is what I love about those beasts, that and the power of course! Mr. Boyd, very nice car! It is certainly true Mr. Boyd, you do not look a day over 70!
I didn't like this body style when it first came out. I thought it looked too much like a Pontiac. But it sure has grown on me. I like the '68s -'70s better. @emal510 Automatic transmissions are faster and better at shifting, it makes the car easier to drive since you have less to do. There is a reason why Lambo is now going only auto.
@theonlylolking Not all auto transmissions are faster, but they are smoother. The biggest disadvantage they have is that it makes your car boring. I doubt that Lamborghini will all of their cars automatic. Automatic transmissions are mostly for lazy people, such as Americans. 90% of European cars have a manual transmission.

He's right about the style doesn't change within a 7 year cycle every newer car looks the same, rounded with a few adjustments here and there but not enough to differentiate the style.
This green Charger is indeed beautiful. Fuzzy987321-you have to learn to drive, sure. But driving a bonafide muscle car is NOT the usual driving. Be warned. They are big, they are all metal, they are heavy & powerful. You have GOT to respect them-hitting today's cars with a classic muscle car will turn a new car into a box of Lego parts. Keep that in mind!

I totally agree with the feeling you get when you fire up a real muscle car, the sound, the soul it feels like, the way you know ones coming just by the sound of that incredible engine. I grew up outside Detroit, stepfather was a GM tech designer from the 50's until retirement. Our blended family had 7 kids. Yet, we had a 67 Camaro in the driveway. Later, we has a 70 Chevelle SS, souped up to about 500 HP. I had a 72 Mustang Grande for awhile. I too, had cops pull me over-Just to ask about it.
The definition of "VROOOOM" -- and Dodges had hydraulic lifters, kids. I had a 1968 Satellite and that small block 318 kicked the ass regularly of the 350 Cameros.
The Chargers of 1968-1971 were and are the high bar of muscle cars -- beautiful to behold and more beautiful to own! And yes, the R/T trim was always the biggest and baddest!
There have been no automobiles made in this country since 1973. I had a '71 Dodge Charger SE 500 and to this day still regret getting rid of it. This 'Green Machine' is immaculate.

He's right about the style doesn't change within a 7 year cycle every newer car looks the same, rounded with a few adjustments here and there but not enough to differentiate the style.

This green Charger is indeed beautiful. Fuzzy987321-you have to learn to drive, sure. But driving a bonafide muscle car is NOT the usual driving. Be warned. They are big, they are all metal, they are heavy & powerful. You have GOT to respect them-hitting today's cars with a classic muscle car will turn a new car into a box of Lego parts. Keep that in mind!

You just enjoy that wonderful feeling of if you wanted to, & could, put the peddle to the metal & FLY like the wind-....But even just sitting at a red light, you listen to that car, & it's saying for you TURN GREEN ALREADY! I can't just SIT here! I had to sell that old last of the big Mustangs when I moved, but you can be assured it didn't go to some yahoo who wouldn't cherish it. I still miss the joy it gave me, the looks people gave along with the thumbs up, & wish all could feel that too!

I totally agree with the feeling you get when you fire up a real muscle car, the sound, the soul it feels like, the way you know ones coming just by the sound of that incredible engine. I grew up outside Detroit, stepfather was a GM tech designer from the 50's until retirement. Our blended family had 7 kids. Yet, we had a 67 Camaro in the driveway. Later, we has a 70 Chevelle SS, souped up to about 500 HP. I had a 72 Mustang Grande for awhile. I too, had cops pull me over-Just to ask about it.

The definition of "VROOOOM" -- and Dodges had hydraulic lifters, kids. I had a 1968 Satellite and that small block 318 kicked the ass regularly of the 350 Cameros.
The Chargers of 1968-1971 were and are the high bar of muscle cars -- beautiful to behold and more beautiful to own! And yes, the R/T trim was always the biggest and baddest!

There have been no automobiles made in this country since 1973. I had a '71 Dodge Charger SE 500 and to this day still regret getting rid of it. This 'Green Machine' is immaculate.
