@jonathandavidr I'm replying because we recently "celebrated" Pearl Harbor and the veterans of that war are as old and drecipit (if not dead) than the veterans of World War I were in this song.

Why? Why? We celebrate our dead with our parades and national observances, but in the end, the terrible truth must be told.....

To be completely honest mate, you performed well. BUT this song is supposed to be an extremely sad song, and you failed at that. Keep the voice lower and PLEASE include all chords, you are destroying the song.

I didn't give it enough emotion?...maybe. As for the voice, it's mine so I can't change that at the key I am playing the song in. As for the chords, I am true to the version that I listen to, as I wrote in the write-up, and it's also an interpretation.

Finally, unfortunately...you can only please some of the people some of the time....
