@OCCatholic if you say homosexual marriage is the celebration of sexual preference, then so is heterosexual marriage. I do not support pedophilia and bestiality, There's a crucial difference - homosexual relationships concern two consenting adults, whereas pedophilia concerns one consenting adult and a child who cannot consent, and bestiality the same, except the animal cannot consent.
Plus, the church has no right to tell Americans which couples in love deserve tax breaks or not.

That natrual instinct is absent in homosexual relationships.
When you are contrary to the natural order it is now a preference more than a need.
