I will never understand why would anybody care how farm animals that just give us a meat are treated. We kill them at the end to eat them and that is the bottom line. well humans do need meat but not as much as the food industry tells us. the human alimentary tract is long which is necessary to digest vegetable matter. all herbivores have very long digestive tracts while carnivores have short ones whit humans in the middle. plants should be our main food intake with meat being minimal. you need vitamin b12 found in meat for proper brain function. also fish really is the best meat to eat but bacon is just so darned tasty.

I will never understand why would anybody care how farm animals that just give us a meat are treated. We kill them at the end to eat them and that is the bottom line. I would say, chickens, sheep, cows and all other farm animals that give us their products like eggs and milk on daily basis must be treated almost like pets, but pigs, WHY CARE! There seem to be alot of extremists of both sides in the comment box =/ Why can't someone say that it sucks for the poor pigs and its unsanitary- But I still love bacon. This doesn't represent every Pig farm in the world- only a really crappy one. I''ve been to farms before where they treat their pigs nice, feed them well and give them space.... and Damn do they taste good!! So bottom line, treat the freakin pigs good and they'll taste even better- Now everyone's happy :P

@robertomc05 Not really....just because you see good farms, doesn't mean all are - Take the US for example, those traditional, nicer farms are being "taken over" all thanks to a few powerful corporations - watch food INC, it shows the power of factory farms, industries and just how horrible the consequences are...
I love my meat, but I watch where it comes from - I am sure you do too, just letting you know theres alot of fucked up shit going on in our world - so don't try to surgar coat it

I mean it's proven that the better you treat your animals the better they taste- just look at kobe beef. Most farms suck, not quite as bad as this video but usually almost this bad... which really sucks for both the pigs and the Industry's image. I
