Very good work! Incredible! Perfect! Short of stunning as you study each note .. and certain tones to be used! And over the editing of the video! YOU SHOULD PLAY IN "THE MUSICAL BOX"! Awesome job!! Awesome job!! Awesome job!! Awesome job!! Awesome job!! Awesome job!! Awesome job!! Awesome job!!
Hi, RPorogressive, I am a big fan of Genesis and I'm so glad to see you played the very difficult track. I would like to play it too, but some parts are to fast to see. is it possible to send me a midi file? Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Muchas gracias!

@RProgressive how can they withdraw this because of copyright? as long as you dont publish the song on an album, and it is yours (or if youre authorized to use it), you should be free to cover it as much as you'd like...
i watch this video almost everyday. this kid is simply amazing and if anyone thinks differently....well you can just go die in a fire. keep up the good work man, post some wind and wuthering era as well as more lamb songs.
RProgressive, this is a f**king awesome interpretation of Tony's work, you must upload more of his classic pieces.I have been telling folks for some time now that Mr. Banks is tremendously underatted. I play guitar and a little keys and Genesis has inspired me to go out and buy a new keyboard in the future to learn their music. This helps me quite a bit. Thanks!!
Absolutely brilliant! What can I say! I had no idea he did all that left hand stuff that the guitar does. It makes sense so much better being able to see the way you articulated every part like that. Once again, brilliant my friend. If you ever come to Australia drop in for a cuppa!
Very nice from you to show us the tecnique of playing those fantastic keyboard parts by Tony Banks, thanks! Amazing record, and very good job, please post more from this album.
This is an awesome transcription! Incredible how underrated Tony Banks is, but I'm sure his impact will be felt further on, this is too good to not last forever.
it would interest me what keyboards, and what kind of sound you use (especially for the piano-like passages, the "you better run and join your brother john"--parts!),-it is obviously not the same keyboard TB used but the sound is very similar
and what is the sound you use for "e-piano" (from 01:34 onwards)? is it a special sample of Tony´s RMI-epiano, or some more ordinary sound that just sounds similar in that context? i really look for a sound like this and still haven´t found anything better than a "wurlitzer"-sound!! (tony used it also on the Trick Of The Tail and Wind&Wuthering, )
i dont know about him but with my tribute band we got the perfect rmi sound with an old roland jv1080 + "vintage synth" expansion card. not expensive and very close to the original.
Tony plays such intricate lines that use ALL of the notes in a particular mode or scale; So very different from most other keyboardists. I find his work challenging, both from the writing perspective and the technical aspect, as I find that I often experience difficulty in getting my hands, which are fairly large, to "fit" into some of his "small" spaces !!! Much easier to play Wakeman !:P!:P Peace:)
I own the complete score to Lamb, and Selling England. I had to order them from overseas. It was worth every penny. I can play several very insane songs, NOT as good as Tony but, gettin therE!!!!
I've got the Lamb and Foxtrot books from -- had a hard time deciding between Foxtrot and SEBtP. Next time around i'll get it or NC.
The Rugginenti books are worth the $, and "Genesis: Rock Score" is a nice one to have, too. I used to have the combined W&W / ATOTT book but lost them during a divorce. Don't miss the first wife, but miss that damn book! ;-)
We shouldn't get discouraged. Even Tony said he probably can't play Mad, Man Moon anymore!
Bloody hell!! That was incredible!!! Tony Banks is a bona fide keyboard genius and you are exceptionally, ridiculously talented too! Especially if you did that by ear, as i don't think i've ever seen any sheet music for early Genesis songs that were actually correct. What's next? Does the world need another Genesis tribute band? If so, give me a call, i drum (still got my hair, though)
played really great and also recorded. do you have the sheet music for this? if so, where you have? I try to cover the track, but some parts are to fast to realize. can you help? thx
WOW - holy shit man that was just fabulous- amazing technical playing skills & awesome presentation - out of this world !! thanks for posting you have a great talent

Very nice transcription.
IMHO, minute 5:07 the chord is a C#min7 (root position) and minute 5:12 the chord is C7+ (root position)....I hear that B note..
Also try, minute 0:49 to play an Ebmin (third position) and minute 1:15 keep B as bass note of the chord.
Unfortunately not visible the variation of the double hand arpeggio.
BRAVO.

I hafta get up early in tomorrow morning.
Came across this video just now.
Started to get up to go get my Rugginenti transcription of this from out of in the living room.
Watched this guy's hands doing what i figured Tony'd used cross-hand for, and promptly said out loud "shit, man --it's 2am.. not now, no way!" ;-)
I sure hope Tony gets a new classical album out soon. I love chilling out to "Seven"..

Poderia ter usado o Nostalgia, mas usei um timbre do Sonik Synth 2, pois tinha como adicionar um Phaser.
