Hi, thanks for the question. There are 2 types of african gray birds, the Congo and the Timneh. The Congo grays have black beaks and the Timneh's have a lighter one (more of a pale yellow, not really white). Her beak is yellow because, of course, she's a Timneh!
As for her age, we're not exactly sure, since we adopted her her. Based on the information we were given about her, we're guessing that she's in her teens, maybe even close to 20.
Why is its beak white? Is that what happens when they get old? If so, how old is it?

@mzatkoff Thank you! This really helps! Also 20 sounds pretty old for a bird but I heard that they can live to 70+ which is pretty neat.
