There are countless reason as to why Led Zeppelin could be considered the greatest band of all time now. I will name just a few. Their cd;s sell between 5-8 million a year. From what I hear only Elvis sells more. I mean from arists that are no longer together. You can walk the streets of any city and see teenagers wearing their shirts. Many orchestras have whole concerts playing their songs.

Fact: Back then, Zeppelin made more money than anyone else. Talent is a given, but one needs a killer manager, and that's exactly what Peter Grant was.

Too late, no cigar from me. When Plant and Paige reunited back in the early 90's - THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED John Paul Jones, in fact, they should have had this line-up back then. Back when they were semi-geriatric, up on the hill but not over it and tumbling down the other side.
It wasn't the greatest they've ever sounded but come on...tumbling down the hill? I don't know if I'm going to live to be that old, let alone be able to play music. I think we should give credit where credit was due rather than critiquing them and pointing out where they went wrong in the past.

Kind of reminds me of the recent Van Halen reunion where Michael Anthony was snubbed by the VH bros.. Bass players seem to get the short end of the stick.
I beleive that there is a dvd quality release out there on "torrent" sites, but im not sure where... although i have seen part of one, and it was good quality.
There is none of the actual high def footage floating about that was professionally filmed except the small exerpts from the bbc news footage (as far as im aware)... i could be wrong though.

Awesome band - I grew up with them and am about the same age!!! Thought I'd never hear anything as good as them but you might like to check out JUST FUZZ and their track Pressure. The more I play their music the more I like it and I think they have the potential to make it really big.

It is annoying to see everybody soo well behaved! I would be juming like crazy! I didn't go to led zep -didn't get tickets sadly- but i saw the stones at the o2 in september and got really annoyed at people complaining because i was jumping and singing!! want to seat down go and watch eastenders -NOT ROCK CONCERTS!!!!!
