  • I am not going to complain that this is racist. Yet I find it insensitive to Indians' use of body paint. I wear body paint in public every day in summer; why doesn't Bill shoot ME?! I'm not Indian, I'm Jewish, but body painting needs to be respected!

  • People in the South & most of the West have more moral values than them dang New England Yankees in the Northeast!

  • Snow White's vulture's paying a visit

  • Not sure if you could.

  • Is there any way for someone to put this on DVD?

  • @southernbelleyuna It's in the U.K. Release of Melody Time (Uncut). For the regular cartoon, it's simply just on the Melody Time DVD

  • F#*k the Buena Vista company for editing this! Mr. Disney would be turning in his grave if he knew that they were tampering with his classics. As usual, the people that do the censoring cancel themselves out. In this case, they did it by leaving Jose Carioca's cigar intact in the same film. According to a book I have, they thought "a parrot won't encourage kids to smoke but a human will!"

  • I did not see that tornado one...thanks for the uncut version!

  • How many things can his guns do. shoot stars, ride on water, shrink a tornado, but it doesn't kill people.

  • @circusgirl16 Because guns don't kill people, people kill people.

  • hmm, I've never seen the uncut version before. its better uncut.

  • I always wonder if Disney were still alive, if he would let them edit his classics. I doubt it. Thanks for posting the unedited version. I just transferred my VHS to DVD to preserve the uncut version.

  • So remember kids, shooting at Native Americans is okay as long as you're not smoking.

  • Hey Penny f9 I'm so glad you agree with me. Give me some of your fondest memories based on Disney archives be it movies or television.

  • Dear Disneyfan85, Thank You very kindly for pointing the cigarrette digitally edit part to me. You and I are on the same page here. Wouldn't you agree that Buena Home Ent. should get their s@%t together continue TheWalt Disney Treasures on DVD? Cause there's a lot more old school achives that has yet to be discovered like Little League Moochie series and The Saga of Burnette and The further Adv. of Gallagher.

  • I really appreciate that you posted this uncut version of Pecos Bill from the VHS format in 1983-84. Because this segment is rereleased full length feature of Melody Time. But what's sooo damn pollitically incorrect from the staff of Disney Home Entertainment is that they had to edit the scene where Pecos ropped the cyclone after he rolled a smoke. Very disappointing.

  • @CoopDevine They also digitally edited out any and all shots of the cigarette that hung from Bill's mouth.

  • @CoopDevine I agree, the uncut version is ALWAYS better!

    Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
