Scotty was hiding on the plane that took Laura to Paris. The show ended with the plane moving on to the runway, and Scotty walking into the cabin. So until the writers figure it out who knows? I'm so afraid they are gonna return married to eachother!! There is NO WAY you can have Luke married to Tracy and Laura married to Scotty, and act like all's okay!!

I think Scotty loved Dominique and Lucy both, but the deal with Laura has always haunted him. The "what if" syndrome. Another point is that it's always Scott to everyone else, even Dom and Lucy. But with laura he's always Scotty, even in 2008.
